My xbox 360 froze. How do I know if it was the console or the game? It froze without vibration.

It could be both. Bully had problems with freezing but a patch fixed it.

New to 360 aye? Well yes the game Bully is quite buggy right now ive heard, But affter 2 years my xbox360 is still running fine, it only ever froze on me once. You just have to keep it ventilated, also leave it lying down dont stand it, Keep on a non dusty surface and you should be fine. Dont listen to claims that you should only play for so many hours. Ive done a 48 hour marathon with mine, didnt freeze once.

This is my second xbox 360. The last one died because I kept on playing oblivion for hours, its really addicting. I had to wait for christmas to get a new one. How do I clean dust inside the xbox?

Mine just started locking up repeatedly last night playing Assassin's Creed. This morning I fired it up (no pun intended) and it froze within just a few minutes of being on. A few days ago I did some wiring behind my HDTV and moved some stuff around. I wonder if the brick is getting too hot. I'll try moving it first and doing some dusting.

To be honest the one time mine froze, i picked up the power brick and it was scolding. Just put it on a wooden surface and leave a window open, itll be fine

I keep my xbox on a cooling plate thats made for a laptop but its perfect size for my xbox helps with air flow and keeps it cool. there cheap only about 10-20 $$. Also try hanging up your power supply so that all sides can have ventalation this helps a lot of people.

mine always used to freeze, so i moved the power brick away from it and it helped a bit, but it still froze so i bought a cooling fan for the back of it and now it never freezes.

if it just froze once or twice i wouldn't worry about it. but if it continues to do that, send it in for repairs.

Update: I got the RROD. I managed to get the RROD to go away by unplugging everything, but my Assassin's Creed began freezing up again after about 20 minutes of gameplay. I even added a really good fan to try cooling it down.
