xbox 360 HDTV settings help

i have a 40 inch LCD samsung TV, and i recently bought a hdmi cable. now im wondering, which HDTV settings shud i choose in the xbox's Console settings - HDTV settings ? I haven't had to configure HD settings in some time, but I believe there is a way to auto select the best setting for the TV you are using.
