Can I connect my 360 to the internet through my laptop which is wireless connected?? plz help..

I've heard that you can, although I haven't tried it myself.

You probably can, but I think it is likely to just complicate things, and slow down the computer a bit. Just go for the wireless adapter, it works well.

I do it and it works fine, doesnt slow down anything. My laptops wireless and i just plug the 360 into its ethernet port. Saves wasting money on a 100 dollar wireless thing if you already have a laptop.

What you do is go to internet connections and highlight wireless and either lan or 1394 connection, right click and do bridge connection. I just did it last night for a friend, works well.

All you have to do is go to "start" then click on network and then click on Network and Sharing Center. After that, click on "view status" and select "properties" from your connection status and click on the second tab that says "sharing" and check off those 2 boxes. It is called Internet Connection Settings or ICS.

Oh and by the way, I have Vista so I don't know if this will be the same on windows XP.

I used it on a Compaq laptop with a PIII and it was so slow I couldn't use it.

yeah the wierless adapter which i think costs about $100 is a good buy

I have made a bridge, but when I try to connect to xbox live it says ip adress: failed.. What am I doing wrong?? I have followed this: http://bimmergeek.blogspot.com/2006/05/configuring-network-bridge-for-xbox.html.....

for full speed and easy hookup.....use an ethernet CROSSOVER CABLE....its like 10 or 12 bucks at staples
