[QUOTE="gifflegerbpiss"][QUOTE="WingcommanderIV"] It's quieter, and cooler. Well it's quieter cause it's cooler.
And I think it'll have a Blu-ray Disc drive, not HD-DVD. They've been quoted saying that were Blu-ray to win the HD war, that they would be more than ready to support it. And by the looks of things, HD-DVD doesn't have much time left.

You do realize Blu-Ray is owned by Sony right? Why the hell would sony let a competitor use their technology?
You do realize Windows is owned by Microsoft right? Why the hell would microsoft let a competitor use their technology?
Lol, that's funny. Sony wouldn't necessarilly want to be too choosy on who they let and don't let use the Blue-Ray. If they want to get Blue-Ray to be the next media medium, they'll give it to whoever wants to support it. Remember, Sony doesn't exactly have a good track record with new mediums they've created. Remember the micro-discs? When was the last time you saw a mini-CD?
And Microsoft likewise wants to have their technology used in as many places as possible. If they weren't willing to cooperate, then how exactly did Windows take over the computer market place? Why is it Windows vs. Apple, rather than Windows vs. Linux? The only reason Apple has survived and put up such a fight is because they build their own systems. But how many other manufacturers make IMacs? Not many, because they prefer to go with Windows, and therefor PCs.
