why settle for just 30 fps lol, i think in most online games 60fps would be a necessity while in a game like say metro 2034... if it has ultra uber sexy graphics, 30fps would be acceptable( but locked for sue, any drops below 28fps next gen would be a failAMD Quad Core APU with a dedicated AMD GPU. 4+ gigs of system ram and at least 2 gigs for video. I'd at least hope the bare minimum would be 30.AMD Quad Core APU with a dedicated AMD GPU. 4+ gigs of system ram and at least 2 gigs for video. [QUOTE="CARNAGES41"]****.....ur right.....way to crush my dreams bro! Thing is consoles slaes isn't really set out to make profits. it's the accessories, games, stocks, ect that makes the profit. AND When company want to use other company parts in mass production. They usually get couple company's and start a bidding war to get the price lower. Then plus the retailers profit is cut out unlike if they was selling to just one customer. What you listed would cost 1k plus lol

it should have wheels to....and a handle on top to carry it by....and it should be able to do your taxes while simultaneously owning noobs lmaoWhat it should have (realistically)
Cheap AMD Quad
1 GDR5 GPU (most important by far)
2-4 Gigs of RAM
USB 3.0
Big HDD (install required)
No BLURAY
500$
in my experience amds are prone to overheating and failure. I dont know if they changed their game in the past 2 years though. But Amds run at almost double the clock speeds of intels to get the same power too make up for their cheap chipsets. Sony and Microsoft should stick to IBM like they always have in the past. And i think 2 or 3 gb ddr5 would be best in order to give the console a long lifespan while still delivering somewhat up to date visuals. 1gb would be fully exploited within the first 2 years. Given what happened this gen sony and microsoft should stick as much RAM as possible in their machines. And no blu-ray? Are u maad bro? Bandwidith and download speeds are no where near what is necessary to feasibly release every game online for digital download. Plus its always safer to to have physical copies. Blu-ray discs can hold up to 200gb so it is a must for next gen. What it should have (realistically)

Because blu-ray would jack up the price ALOT. I wouldn't mind if each game was 3 discs and you had to install them, kind of like some computer games
