Xbox = Dead

Well today after about a year of having my 1st 360 it got the rrod. i honestly never thought i would get it but oh well. I was just wondering for all of u who have had this problem did u get your original 360 back? and what exactly do they do to it when you send it in?

Well when I sent my 360 in I got a new "Certified Replacement Console" which is basically a fancy way of saying a tested and upgraded 360 console. For the most part they replace broken consoles with these new replacements. I'm pretty happy with the service I got and my console was back to me a couple of days after I sent it in. It seems experiences may differ though. Make sure you call up support and tell them the problem and write down the reference number they give you during the call. YEP, I just got the RROD tonight... but I still had my Best Buy replacement plan, they didn't have any pro consoles there so I had to settle for an Elite :) I just had to pay the 99 dollar diffrance between the consoles and I got Marvel and Forza Free!

I consider the PRP a good investment I guess. It was a good way to make a bad night good
