Xbox freezes only for halo... what now?

hello everybody im just wondering, i just got odst a bit ago and it constantly freezes. Im just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem, or if im stuck with it. I have tried the ODST disk, and 2 different Halo 3 disks and they all do the same thing.

You could try to install the game, see if that helps. Also if you havn't, check if there are any new updates for the game. Maybe it'll help.

Ok thanks for the feedback, im currently installing ODST on my hard drive, but how do i check for the updates?

dang, still freezing. Any other suggestions? I think i will probably contact microsoft tomorrow about this.

Same thing happened with my friend. I brought the game over, and while there was an update needed for his 360... it froze. Turned the 360 off and back on and poof.. RROD!!!!!:shock::o

That's not a good sign. Are these issues consistent with other games other than Halo?
