Nope. You get to have it on ONE xbox at a time. Its recovered each time you do so. You can move it to any xbox to gather achievements, but you have to recover it each time.Presidentman2Sorry I didnt read the first post completely. He is correct, you can not have it on two xboxs at the SAME time.
Does anything happen when i recover it
People have told me i will lose gamerscore
If your always connected to gold then there is very little chance of that happening. I've also heard some problems when playing on silver, but i'm not sure how to prevent that....I use gold.If you're worried about gamerscore, you might want to take this little story into consideration: I went to my friend's house and took my xbox and TV along with me. He wanted to borrow my HDD so he could finish all the Fallout 3 expansions without having to download or buy them. This works because he has his Xbox connect to Live, has my HDD attached and he recovered my gamertag onto his Xbox, and he has a memory card with his gamertag on it. What he did was turned on the XBL and went to the dashboard, has his gamertag signed in on controller #1, then turns on controller #2 and signs my gamertag in on controller #2. Then he starts up Fallout 3 and has access to all the expansions and can still play them. This is possible because I'm signed in. Even though he is not registered as a buyer of the expansion, I am, and my profile is also signed in. Make sense? Now, while he was playing the expansions, I was playing Mass Effect on my Xbox. I was still signed into my gamertag using my own memory card, but I was not logged into Live, I disconnected from any network so that I wouldn't connect to Live. I got some achievements during this time. Here's the problem: The next day when I was at home, I went back to recover my gamertag back onto my console. Problem was that when I recovered it, I lost all those achievments I had gotten on Mass Effect. The reason for this is because my gamertag was logged in officially on his Xbox and connected to Live, so it never registered any of my offline achievements from Mass Effect. So when I recovered it, it had no recollection of me ever playing Mass Effect the night before and so I lost those achievements. However, "in theory", I think that when I was done playing Mass Effect, if I would've just taken my memory card out of my xbox and plugged it into my friend's xbox, and then popped in Mass Effect, and then loaded up the game, I think it would've been ok because then my memory card with my gamertag and the HDD with my gamertag would've sync'd up and it would have kept those achievements, and there would've been no need to recover my gamertag at all. Again, this is only theory, didn't actually try this.Does anything happen when i recover it

Yea, that can happen too. But if the 360 is your own, one upstairs and one downstairs, you will have to go through the trouble of recovering them each time, and for the first time, you will have to install all updates, DLC, and themes, etc.. on each of your consoles to make them work (will not carry over with the gamertag).
If you want to use your Gamertag on 2 different 360s do yourself a favor and get a memory card. Just save your tag and saved games to it. It saves you alot of time since you don't have to redownload your Gamertag each time.
