Guys,

Relax. If you have a modem or a router, this will help to solve all of your problems; I know it helped me a lot.

Get access to the Internet all over your home without the messy clutter of unsightly Ethernet wires when you use this wall-plugged adapter that works with your existing electrical wiring.

  • Compatible with 10 Mbps or 10/100 Mbps Ethernet products and Netgear Cable/DSL routers

  • Operates at 10 Mbps 10Base-T standards; 14 Mbps HomePlug 1.0-compatible

  • Up to 14 Mbps data transfer rates

Product Features

  • Uses existing home electrical wiring via electrical outlets to extend Internet access throughout your home
  • Covers up to 5,000 sq. ft.
  • Allows you to access the Internet in any room of your home without additional wiring
  • Allows you to remotely connect gaming consoles to your cable/DSL Internet connection
  • Reduces clutter and saves desk space
  • Easy-to-read LEDs (power, link, link/activity) show status of your Internet connection
  • Protects network connections from eavesdroppers and hackers using 56-bit Data Encryption Standard (DES)
  • Quick and easy to install

You can buy this at best buy for a $100, and you will be able to play xbox live all night long. This thing is called:

NETGEAR - Wall-Plugged Ethernet Bridge

Model: XE102 | SKU: 7444492

you either need a cord long enough to reach from your router to your 360 or you need to buy a wireless adapter (if you have a wireless capable router that is)

You dont need a credit card to get xbox live....you could go to wal-mart, best buy or any other electronic store and get a card with a year, thats what i did. and just get a wireless adapter...much easier
