Xbox Live Payment help

Well, basically can anyone state the payment methods available to pay for xbox live...i kno about the direct one through the xbox itself and u use a credit card etc...and also buying xbox gamecards for 1 month, 3 month periods etc...,but is there possibly a method were u can buy gametime online and get the code sent to you via email etc, and then simply u use the redeem code function to access the game time?

Ive heard of some sites which do this and i was wondering, do you guys know any sites which offer this? or should i avoid this because it seems a bit dodgey ^^

You either pay via credit card over xbox live, or you go to a retail store and buy a Xbox Live Subscription Card.
