XBox Live Reputation Needs An Overhaul

Rep makes no sense... well i mean microsoft had good intentions with it, but people abuse it. When you beat people in a game there is aboue a 50% they will give you feedback because THEY LOST. I have gotten bad feedback for quiting early (this was about a month after i had my 360) and i clearly remembered quiting two times. Both those times i quit before the game started (also before clock started counting down). Each time i quited in the lobby because i had to go do something, yet i recieved bad feedback.

Now while getting bad feedback can affect who you actually play with in certain games like CoD2 it has absolutly no affect on Gears. The reason is CoD2 automaticly puts you in a game so it searches for the lobbies and sees who is in it, but gears on the other hand gives you the free will to choose whatever game you want. Giving you the chose of which lobby to enter takes away absolutly any prescreening. I mean if you had 100% bad feedback you would never get into a game. Now think how frustrating that would be if you went to chose a deathmatch in gears 20 times and each time got kicked. IF you went to CoD2 it would just pass the ones you can't get into and put you in the first one you can.

That in, is thier excuse for trashing your rep. They see a lone man whipping butt with no mic and they will consider you an outsider. That goes for your teammates as well. Dont be surprised if your own team didnt give you bad feedback because you dont use a mic. Showing up with no mic is taken as disrespect to alot of gamers.

I think rep should be scrapped entirely. It's a good idea in theory, but in practice, people abuse it, and people care far more than they should about their own rep.BAMX

or they could set it so that NO REVIEW counts as good feedback because there was no incident..people are to lazy to go prefer someone,Clinton015

i think that they should just scrap the whole thing and instead just ad to a list of people you want to avoid games with... won't effect anything but who you play with.... i would love to use this on all the people who do nothing but trash talk
