I got 240 pts for resubsribing to gold, activating an old 1 month trial card, and taking a 5 question survey. I'll be buying the BFBC2 DLC when it comes out so that should be even more.
Not bad

Still haven't gotten #$%$ for my survey.

See you say this... but I signed up at the release day like everyone else and people are reporting getting credit for it already. So next time you're going to go all CAPS LOCK on me read up!

Either those people are lying or they are extremely lucky, I read the page, it's once a month, why don't you try reading the site instead of whining?

I'm not whining, I DID read the terms of use. I'm just tired of Micrsofts bull. They same thing happened with Bing Rewards and it's getting old. Not to mention that once you do something that is supposed to give you points but you have to wait a month and perhaps you didn't do everything to get those points then you have to wait another month. It's just stupid.

I just got my 20 points since first signing up awhile ago. So I guess that answers if people are "lying "...
Nice find, about time they did something like this. All they need now is to offer rewards for gamerscore too.firebolt53
Would probably make more sense if it was for completing a retail game. "You just finished a $60 game, here's $10 to download another game or some DLC."
Hey, I did a survey a couple weeks ago and I never had any points, please help. Is it that I need to become a gold member to do so?
Stevo7991
No, you don't have to be a Gold Member to get the survey points, free members get the 20 points too. If you visit the xbox rewards website, the chart shows you what gets points for free members and what gets points for Gold Members.
Oh, yeah. And for those asking, after the points are pended and then awarded, they just automatically show up in your account. You don't have to redeem them with a code or anything. My 20 points showed pending a few day after I took the survey and then were in my account a week or so later. But if you haven't gotten your points yet, don't sweat it yet since it does say you are supposed to get them the next month.
Well we all know where that $10 price hike went to. It went to funding your own ''free'' rewards/points.
[QUOTE="DeadApeBladder"]No one has an answer to this? I just bought a year off of Amazon and I was wondering if I would be getting points.Do I only receive the rewards for renewing if I use a credit card or do prepaid cards count as well?
craigalan23
I'm not sure if a non credit card transaction works, and I can't find anything about it.
I sent an E-mail to there help department asking this question after I looked through there FAQ I'll post what they send me.
One idea for the canadians: How about yall fraudently register as an american.
Stevo7991
I'd rather not make a new account. and I'm not really mad about it, it's just we got knocked out of a good idea again.

and this was the response E-Mail
Hi Consumer,
Thank you for your inquiry. We hope the information below will answer
your question regarding Rewards Points.
Are Xbox LIVE Rewards Points different than Microsoft Points?
A. No, there is no difference between Rewards Points and Microsoft
Points. Xbox LIVE is rewarding you for activities you already do.
Rewards Points can be used to purchase anything you would normally buy
with your Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
How do I receive the Microsoft Points I earn through Xbox LIVE Rewards?
A. Xbox LIVE Rewards Points equal to or greater than 100 will be
automatically deposited into your Xbox LIVE account each month. It may
take up to 30 days for the points you earn to be deposited into your
account. If your points total is less than 100, the points will be held
as pending until 100 total points are reached and deposited into your
account.
Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A. Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.
See Terms and Conditions for full details.
How do I know how many Xbox LIVE Rewards Points have been earned and
awarded?
A. First, log in to Xbox LIVE Rewards. Once you are on the MyRewards
page, you will see your Total Rewards Points Awarded directly next to
your personal Avatar. This is a cumulative total of all the points
you've been awarded since becoming an Xbox LIVE Rewards member.
How do I know whether my Rewards Points have been deposited to my account?
A. Log in to Xbox LIVE Rewards to see a summary of your pending, awarded
and bonus points on the MyRewards page. You can review these just like
any other statement. You will also receive a monthly Rewards statement
via email, showing you what you've earned and how many points have been
deposited into your Xbox LIVE account. So be sure to provide us your
accurate email address so we can notify you when your Rewards Points are
ready to spend.
How do I redeem my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points?
A. Since Rewards Points are Microsoft Points, you can redeem them
directly at the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. There are no restrictions on the
items you can purchase with your Rewards Points but make sure you use
them before they expire on June 30, 2012.
I don't think the question was answered...
Second time is a charm I guess because the answered the question this time.
Hi Consumer,
Thank you for contacting us regarding the Xbox LIVE Rewards program.
Please be advised that your account must be activated first. Then, you
will only earn points if a purchase of an Xbox LIVE
subscription/renewal/upgrade is made via the website. Automatic renewals
or purchases from a retail location will not earn you reward points for
this program.
Thank you,
Your Xbox LIVE Rewards Squad.
