I can see the point about buying a game used and paying Microsoft. But when I buy my family a new gameis everyone and the children have to purchase the game separate is redicoulous. We have 4 memebers that pay for live, which is redcoulous itself, but If I have to buy us each their own copy ,, well,, we will just cancel our live subscriptions and give up ,, this is just to much.

Unless they end up with some kind of family plan for putting a game on multiple accounts on the same device it sounds like you would have to buy a copy of the game for each person.

the used game fee actually go towards the developers. I'm hoping they just let my gamertag (account) allow permission for selected gamertags to play

I believe it said a portion goes to the developer not all of it. And from everything that has been said about it every game will be tied to one account, you can only play on another console by using your account, and if you were to sell the game back to a retailer the game would be removed from your account and you would not be able to play. Because the game needs to be installed and can be played without the disk it is safe to say that there is no chance that you would be able to allow other gamertags to use your game.

that microsoft also gets a portion of the fees. im shocked that it wasnt just a way to help developers.

No, you only need one copy of the game( or licence ) on the main xbox live account(gold or silver) and everyone else that is a sub account like the children an play that game aswell.

You're absolutely right. A lot of people used to like to play a game for just one day and get whatever achievements they could get. They liked to rent or borrow. Now they can't do that. If you're brother has a game and you want to play it on your account to beat the game then you'll need to pay a used game fee. What a joke!

"What about members of my family on the same console? YES. If a game is installed on a console, anybody who uses that console can play it through that console's parental controls. But what we don't know is how many accounts this will apply to: four? Five? Two? Bottom line: you can only share games if your accounts are on the same console and parental controls are set up to do so." http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/05/22/xbox-one-what-we-do-and-dont-know?abthid=519fab918d7b343e58000006

Only way I see it working ok for you. Is if what you are saying is there are 4 xbox system in your home? To get it alworking is to just make it so that every one plays on one Xbox One system in the living room. Sharing the actual disk with every one at home is not gong be as easy as with the Xbox 360.

your all confusing the TC here lol

1. If you buy an xbox one and have family members in your home, every single one of them can play it as long as all accounts are on that console, the primary console. But if you have a couple of consoles you will not be able to allow your family members to play on the other consoles, and this will require payment.

2. If you sell your games to a individual i.e friend or lend a game to someone, they will have to pay a fee to play unless they use your log in details and then they can play for free.

3. If you sell your games to a retailer, they will have software to clear the lock on the disc from your username. they they are allowed to sell it at what ever price they want to. But once they sell it on, the Publisher  and MICROSOFT, want a percentage of the resale.
