Yesterday, my 360 froze and an array of colored stripes filled up the screen. I turned it off and let it cool off overnight. Then when I turned it back on today it froze again, this time the screen was pitch black and the 360 emmited a statick-ike noise. I waited a few hours and turned it on and the same thing happened, but there ar no red rings on my 360. What the hell is happening??

Thats exactly what happened to mine. I only get the red lights 50% of the time but it happens over and over again.

mine had red lights but i could always turn it on again - but sometimes it would happen the same thing - no lights whatsoever, wait some time then turn it on again

just ignore that one. you open it up, you lose your warranty. at this point, you call MS and you get it replaced. listen to him and you get a nice heavy paperweight.

Exactly, I could turn it on again but then all of the sudden it would freeze, then I would turn it on and then I would get the 3 lights. I would come back later and the lights wouldn't show up.
