Heya, had a problem where I was playing Guitar Hero, then finished, turnt off my xbox360 for awhile, went to play it that night, and it DID turn on, but my tv screen was all blue.

I didn't get the rings, my Xbox360 seems to be working fine, except for the fact it won't come up on my tv, I tried all channels and av channels etc but still no luck.

I thought it would be the cable going from my xbox into my tv, so I bought a new one (VGA Cable - I believe). tried that, and still no luck.

So, if anyone knows of any solutions, or if this problem has happend on your tv, please let me know.

Thanks

(I don't think it is my tv though, as other consoles work fine on it)

What was the problem you had with GH3? It sounds like your 360 connector may be messed up, but I don't know.

Well it wasn't the problem with GH3, that was the game I was playing at the time. But i've even bought a new plug + wires which you connect from your xbox to your tv, yet it's still not working, and the xbox works fine, so I don't think it's the connecter which gives it power :ss

Do any other games work correctly? Sounds like it could be your graphics processor going out, or something messed up with the audio/video port on the back of the 360.

No games work, as no sort of xbox screen appears on my tv, not even any loading/or menu. Just a blue screen.

What I meant was what exactly happened before you turned off the system?

Also I was saying that if might be the connectors, as in the ones in the 360 not the cables. As someone else has stated it could be the GPU I guess. I don't know a lot about that stuff though.

The same thing happened to me. Does your XBOX turn on and have sound but no video. If so your video chip is fried. I was going to send it in for $115 but figures put up another$ 150 instead and get a new XBOX arcade.

It sounds like you got the blue screen of death! I would guess your GPU is toast. You could unplug your 360 for a while and then plug it in and try several games. I would also try another TV also, just to be sure. If it does not work on another TV then I would say your GPU is definitely toast.
