im sorry, i dont have NG2....but i wanted to know if its worth $60? Im going to EBgames during my lunch break today and was considering to pick it up. I LOVED the first NG, but after watching some reviews and them mentioning there's no platforming (which a lot of people complained about but i actually thoroughly enjoyed it) i was a little turned off.

Ive only beaten the first 3 levels but i wouldn't say there is no platforming. i think its just that most of the platforming is optional places u don't have to go but should. i would buy it.

agreed.... I'm on Chapter 6 now and I find the same thing with a few exceptions..... you can run past a bunch of stuff if you don't take thetime to look around..... it's a no brainer, if you liked NInja Gaiden on the XBOX.... don't hesitate to get NGII.... it's rockin my socks off.

PS. Brag Alert.... Downed the Chapter 5 boss on 1st attempt.

I'm quite sure he used the Kusari-gama. If you don't upgrade it, that weapon is perfect to get high combos.

And for the guy having trouble with the 3rd Test of Valor, it's not as hard as you think. Equip your bow and pick off the flying fiends by dash jumping and double fire the bow while in the air (if you run out of arrows there is a dead ninja with unlimited supplies) Once the flying fiends are dead you can destroy the werewolves without worrying about getting hit by fireballs.

He got it very easily there because the bug things on that part of the stage just keep spawning and they're very easy to kill.saiyansnake

To prove my point that its very easy to get high combos in the green tunnel: I cant capture video on my TV so I could only take a cell phone pic, its a cheap stage to do it but I got up to 420 :D
