Ive had xbox360 since launch morning and my gamerscore is below.
I dont try to get achievments on purpose, but its always nice to see an achievment pop up that you didnt even know about hehe. I do own over 35 games though.
Only achievment i tried to get was on Shadowrun where you had to T-BAG someone that had the virus hehe.
AND TO BE TOTALLY HONEST THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN GAMERSCORE AND XBOX Blu-Fan-Boyvery true. nevertheless, what's wrong with a high GS? I'm kickin somewhere around 32K (LIVE member since launch), but i would love to have it higher if by virtue of completing the games i have more thoroughly. of course there is more to LIFE than xbox, but this is an XBOX forum on which gamers who enjoy XBOX come to talk about XBOX and all things XBOX.....if we wanted a lesson on how grand and fulfilling life is, we'd go to church. p.s. - whoah caps

look at sig. I used to play mainly for achievements( Id say 60% for achievements, 40% for fun) but those days have passed and I go with the flow
To me it is all about the quality of games played. Personally, I would rather have 700 points in Gears, Halo, Fallout, etc... than 1000 points in crap games like King Kong. I want my score to show my good taste in games.
With that said, my GS is around 10,000.
