The first game I got for my 360 was Oblivion on release day, and as soon as I walked out of the sewers and saw that giant landscape staring me in the face it was incredible.

Hmm...I actually haven't had a 'Zen' moment yet I guess. I have had some pretty good runs on DOOM over LIVE, but I have yet to acquire the 50-kill and 100-kill achievements on it. Although I am positive I have had that many kills total...

I remember one time, we were playing in like...stage 1-4? or was it 1-6? Ah well anyway, I was playing with one other person and we aren't running into eachother for the longest time, so I grab the shotgun, then wait in this one room along the hallway with shotgun shells, grabbing them each time they rez, and I also have a blue vest and 100% health, and I just wait...and like clockwork he comes walking by and doesn't even notice me. and I got a nice kill without taking any counter-fire.

Another time I was on like level 1-2 or 1-3, and I went straight for the hidden chamber with the backpack and rocket launcher. I steyed in there gathering all of these rockets as they rezzed until I had full ammo (doubled by the backpack, mind you), grabbed a blue vest, that poor kid didn't stand a chance lol. Of course that one was a little unfair since the other person didn't seem familiar with all of the secret chambers in that stage.

Oh, and one other good moment...a four-player match on the stage with the lava-floor, where you have to jump across the gap to reach the other side... None of us knew how to jump then, so we all kept fighting eachother with pistols on the lava, fighting for the lava-proof suits and health-doubler, and rezzing wherever...and it would always culminate in a battle back at the regular starting location, where we would all fight eachother one-on-one to claim the small healthpacks there. I would always try coming after everyone with the chainsaw, sometimes pretty successfully - I think I took out all three of the other players that way the one time, at the cost of having almost no health left over.

But really, any moment where you have the health-doubler, a blue vest, the game's most powerful weapon and full ammo for it is the best moment of all. Sometimes I like to yell, "3...2....1...CLEAR!" for full effect, since it reminds me of a defibrilator. XD

I thought the sewers were pretty impressive - there is a lot of crap hidden on the ground that is barely visible, and right from the get-go you have to make decisions about which items to keep and which to toss.
