Circana has published its latest monthly video game sales report, revealing the best-selling games of 2025 so far, with data running through February.
Monster Hunter:Wilds got off to a huge start and is now 2025's best-selling game so far. Other big releases from February to also make the charts include Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Civilization 7.
"Monster Hunter Wilds was the best-selling video game of February, instantly becoming the best-selling title of 2025 thus far. Launch month dollar sales of Monster Hunter Wilds more than doubled the total Monster Hunter Rise achieved during its March 2021 debut," Circana said.
As for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Circana said the launch-month dollar sales in February 2025 was more than five times higher than that of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance in February 2018.

There are some key caveats to be aware of. This list includes physical and digital sales data, but not from every publisher. For example, Nintendo does not share digital sales data. Also of note is that the list is ranked on dollar sales, not unit sales. The list also does not include revenue from sales of any add-ons for games, nor does it account for popularity on a service like Game Pass.
The reporting period covers January 5, 2025 through March 1, 2025.
Looking ahead, Rockstar Games is releasing GTA 6 later this year, and it's expected to be a sales juggernaut. Whereas Call of Duty usually ends the year as the No. 1 best-selling game, that could be interrupted in 2025 due to GTA 6.
