What Gamespot Users have to say about America's Army 3

Awesome team-based game with highest realism possible. Powered by UnrealEngine3 so has big potential.
Though it has LOTS of bugs now, but it has BIG potential. 1. VERY high realism - folks from d-team had access to "real stuff" from US Army, so instead of used aproximate weapons simulations - they are using real ones. ... Read Full Review

AA3, While being buggy on its release is actually shaping to be quite an amazing game.
While many many people will tell you that the game is crap and that it is way too buggy. They are very close minded. After months of anticipation I was a bit frustrated too. Figuring out that the game doesnt work well, b... Read Full Review

Give it some time... AA3 will be the best tactical shooter ever made. Hardcore - teamplay with superb realism.
Right at the beginning full with many different bugs; disappearing weapons, enormous lags, problems with connecting and account authorization etc. But remember one thing - its a free game, so you cant expect the same... Read Full Review

BROKEN
Graphics: Not much of a step up from AA2.0. Tons of graphical glitches and bugs (grenades don't show, reloading completely screwed up, HUD vanish etc.). Too much to list. Can't enable anti-aliasing without going throug... Read Full Review

It's alright, a few bugs, but they'll probably fix it.
America's Army came out a few days before I started playing it. When I first started playing (doing the training) I couldn't believe it, it was just amazing I just got so addicted to the game I finished all the basic tra... Read Full Review

This game is a waste of time and resources. Better get AAO2 if you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the pre-load and huge anticipation the time and date has come, but nooo, you need to download another 1-2 gigs for the game to play (via steam). Alrighty then, trying to download "steam is 2 busy, try again" tried ... Read Full Review

First Impressions: Potentially good game, but ridden with unreliability.
The game itself has quite a lot to offer, but it has one humongous drawback - the database servers. Took 3 attempts to create a soldier, meaning the game was ended as a process from the task manager. Then comes the train... Read Full Review

One of the best games of all time has lost it's way.
For years I have been a huge fan of AA. I'd even pay for it if I had to. But this installment is one of the biggest let downs I've ever had. Not only did I sit through hours & hours of fooling around with this stupid "S... Read Full Review
