What Gamespot Users have to say about Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Burning Earth

I would recommend steering clear of this game if your not a fan of the show.
After some consideration about if I should buy this game or not, I decided to by it as I found it for £20. As a fan of the TV show I wanted to play it but had a feeling that people were going to view me as an achievement... Read Full Review

If your a fan, try it. If not, ignore it.
I played this game for oh about 2.5 mins. I did rent this for this the Achievements, but I couldnt make it through after that. Horrible control scheme, wierd cut screens, unispired gameplay. I cant even think of a ... Read Full Review

The burning earth comes as an improvement to the first without a few things that could have been better.
In this go round Aang and the "gang" are into book 2 Earth. If you have played the last game you probably would have realized that the camera was a bit tricky to work out but all together well done for all it's worth. On... Read Full Review

Quick fun game...if you haven't seen the cartoon. If you have, well...don't bother.
In the long line of games fashioned from TV and Movies. This one is not that bad. It's not perfect. Most game tie-ins fall well short of expectations in quality and gameplay. Avatar at least holds it's head above wat... Read Full Review

It's the typical platform game: Simple, beautiful, pleasing to a casual gamer, and absolutely plotless.
I'm not a die hard fan of the Avatar cartoon, despite being positively surprised with the few of its episodes I've actually seen. When I rented this game from the store, I was expecting to be introduced to this new magic... Read Full Review

Buy the Book 2: Earth DVD set instead
This game does have an adcantage, as many other reviewers have noted: achievment points. The acheivement points are so easy to get, it would be like someone giving you $150 for making a sandwich and another $200 for eati... Read Full Review

Only 1 good thing...
The only bonus to this game is that the achievements can be obtained in about.... 2 minutes, by pressing B about 20 - 30 times. I'm not joking at all. The graphics in the game are nothing special at all, I do like the ... Read Full Review

Waaaay too short.
When I first started playing it, I thought it'd be good cause it follows the show unlike the first one. Then I beat it today after 7 FREAKIN LEVELS!!! This game is waaaaay too short. It cuts out a butt load. Some of the ... Read Full Review

Avatar Aang off on another adventure.
The story starts off.. blah, blah, blah into Book 2; Chapter 1. Aang, Katara and Sokka (I think that's how you spell it) are sent to a village, and what I noticed in the first few parts of playing the game, there is a Aa... Read Full Review
