What Gamespot Users have to say about BioShock 2

Bioshock 2 would be better classified as an expansion. That said, Bioshock 2 is awesome.
I'm a huge fan of this series. These games are more like art than just games. I love the story. I ponder the story and theme. I eat of the moments as I play through the ominous halls of Rapture. So that said, I'm ... Read Full Review

A bit dissapointing, feels like a console game on the PC.
The first game was amazing, it was immersive, had brilliant visuals for its time and a great story. This time it seems to lack substance, the graphics in parts are a let down, its just like playing the original but wi... Read Full Review

Rehashed version of BioShock 1, but you play as a Big Daddy. Limited weapons, nothing new, silly enemies...waste of time
Nothing new here....just Bioshock 1 but as a Big Daddy. There are 6 total weapons in the game, and none of them are really fun to use at all. Your movement is slow and awkward, and using the weapons is clumsy and boring.... Read Full Review

I could have lived without Bioshock 2.
At first Bioshock introduces a truly spectacular theme. You- A delta version Big Daddy is sent on the quest to find your missing little sister. It later turns out the "epic quest" consists of doing boring tasks like:... Read Full Review

The game has it's moments, but the game play and overall realism isn't fully there.
Okay so I completed the game not too long ago and decided to put together my thoughts on the game. First let me start with the positives; despite what some people think the game is still good. The new weaponry is pretty ... Read Full Review

Not quite as great as the first BioShock, but online was pretty well done, and the single player is good while it lasts
Since it's a new year I decided to go with the majority of reviewers and change my review style so bear with me. BioShock 2 is really similar to the first game in terms of gameplay, so similar in fact that I''m not going... Read Full Review

Severe technical problems and a too-linear structure detract from an otherwise rollicking good time
Most people would consider the writings of Ayn Rand an unusual choice for the basis of a game, and even as an Objectivist of 5 years, I would have to agree. The first Bioshock was hailed as an innovation in storytelling... Read Full Review

Better than the first in almost every way
I just finished Bioshock 2 today, and I have to say it was a pretty damn fun game. Like the title says, this game is an improvement in every way over the first one, except when it comes to the quality of the story. There... Read Full Review

An amazing game that almost any rpg/shooter hybrid fan will enjoy.
Bio Shock 2 is sequel of the first Bio Shock game. Does it live up to it's legacy? Why yes it does. To start off, the game-play is very well done. It's overall feel doesn't feel totally revamped, but its new choices... Read Full Review
