A well-crafted and well-written game.
Ok, right off the bat I would like to say: "this is not a 'kiddie' game." Despite the cartoony graphics, this is a very good game. The game revovles around a youth, whom is celebrating along side his fellow vil... Read Full Review

Awesome game, fun to play, though it's repeaditive dungeon system can get a little annoying.
This game has it all: Great graphics (for its time), Zelda-like combat system, cheesy anime sounds that we all enjoy, and an impressive weapons system. Now, take all that, and add to it the ability to make your own town;... Read Full Review

Dark Cloud is a good game held back from greatness by its annoying, hard-to-ignore flaws.
The story of Dark Cloud centers around a young lad named Toan (who, despite his appearance, is not related to Link in any way). Armed only with a dagger and a magical stone, Toan sets off on a journey to rebuild his dest... Read Full Review

Dark Cloud starts out very simple, some evil man has awakened an Evil Genie for evil purposes. The Evil Genie destroyed alot of the world, but thankfully the Fairy King has placed many pieces of the world in these sphere... Read Full Review

Poor Game
Personally, i like RPGs, and i thought this game could be like Zelda, but no! the story is not interesting, Toan(the protagonist) has to restore the world after the Dark Genie is awakened. The character development is v... Read Full Review

Dark Cloud is one of the best of the older RPGs released for the PS2.
Dark Cloud definitely has a permanent shelf spot among my games, it’s the absolutely second best RPG released in 2001 aside from Final Fantasy X. It may not have voiceovers, but it certainly does intrigue you whenever yo... Read Full Review

Wow, this game is a major let down and a waste of money.
This game, even at the price it goes for today, is a waste of money... It is so bad, in so many ways. The gameplay gets confusing sometimes. The storyline is also very weird, and not satisfying. There is NO voice acti... Read Full Review
