What Gamespot Users have to say about Darkest of Days
- Rating:8.5
Darkest of Days brings many famous events together in 1 game.
From the reviews I've read here and in other places, I thought this game was going to be an abysmal waste of hard drive space. I'm glad I went against the grain and decided to play this game. The entire premise of this... Read Full Review

A foggy dream...
I've always wondered if one single gun could change the outcome of a war. Darkest days gives you the feeling, at some specific moments, that it can be done. In a nutshell: this game is a great idea, the graphics are fair... Read Full Review

A great idea not taken to it's full potential
When I first saw the box art to this game, that of a Union Soldier holding a futuristic assault rifle, I felt this was a game worth checking out. When I picked it up, I was expecting being able to play as a time traveler... Read Full Review

Great concept, impotently executed. Requires less skill to play this than World of Warcraft at its easiest moments
Superficial details first: The visuals might have been impressive when Stalker came out.. maybe. The audio sounds like highly compressed mp3's and has no bass in pretty much anything. And the voice acting & scripting ... Read Full Review

Fun for all gamers, whether hardcore or casual!
I've played the game, and I've got to say, it's better than I was expecting. I was expecting a totaly boring game where you just shoot with one gun for five levels then you get a new gun. In this game, it wasn't like tha... Read Full Review

Did the developers never figure out they were 10 years too late to challenge Call of Duty? Talk about budget title.
In opening, Darkest of Days has to be the worst FPS on the 360 console thus far for a long list of reasons. And the thing is, it tried to rip on Call of Duty by way of its grade D storyline but failed at the job with fly... Read Full Review

This game has some room for improvement, but it's downright FUN, and really.. that's what counts the most.
Darkest of Days has you playing as some sort of timecop, going between a couple major eras in history to clean up the messes left over from the meddling of other time travel groups. You'll fight alongside the Union in t... Read Full Review

Almost Good...
Well, when i first saw the game's premise, i thought it could be a good game! I mean, the whole time travelling sounded very appealing, it almost reminded me of C&C when they tried to chance the past and it later blew th... Read Full Review

Worth a short look, but not any rewards.
Amateurish is how I would generally describe the game. The graphics look dated, there's nothing innovative about the action, the sounds are, at times, straight up broken. Let me go into a little more depth: The stor... Read Full Review

don't wanna say anything about the gameplay or the graphics. But the story is the real highlight about it.
AI= don't know. but I think poor. yeah. sometimes the enemy gets tricky. ( doesn't move then suddenly punches you ) Voice Acting = Great voice acting but there was something about mother though. Like Dexter's talk btw... Read Full Review
