What Gamespot Users have to say about Darksiders II
- Rating:8.5
Darksiders II boasts exciting hack and slash action, but more importantly creates an exciting storybook esque adventure.
The "adventure" genre seems as though it doesn't really exist anymore. What ever happened to the games like the cheesy Wii game Monster Hunter, where you would be fighting impossible enemies who often are about fifty tim... Read Full Review

A beautifully environmental sequel that tends to draw on and ends with an anti-climactic end sequence.
I really appreciated the artistic direction of the first Darksiders though I did find it a bit too drawn out particularly at the end. In the sequel, many things were polished making for a better balanced game from start... Read Full Review

Hope for God of War type thingy and got a look-a-like with a punch! :)
After coming across a book with the artworks and designs made for the first of its sequel i got very curious and bought ... the sequel :P. I am still getting used to the controls and game mechanics, but so far i have to ... Read Full Review

We've all had it before, just not this far past the expiration date.
There's a coin-up laundry about a 30 second walk from my apartment, that's where I do my clothes. Wash and Dry. A girl I'd been sleeping with came in with me once. As I was about to throw in some white shirts with the... Read Full Review

It is so rare to see a sequel absolutely outshine everything that came before it.
I never expected this to be so much fun. Darksiders 2 is a very competent action game with some decent RPG elements. Yes it copies everything from other franchises. Sure, it doesn't really have loot as good as Diablo 2, ... Read Full Review

Being a huge fan of the original Darksiders, the only appropriate word I could say is 'disappointing' actually.
Darksiders was a very very fun game for me and I ended it about three or four times for how fun it was. I was waiting so badly for the sequel. But I don't think I will do the same for Darksiders II. The game is not t... Read Full Review

A Masterpiece
The game itself is perfect, but whoever was in charge of porting the game over to the PC should not be allowed to work for THQ. An extremely simple mistake in the graphic settings (which never should have been a problem ... Read Full Review

Could have been better.
Darksiders II takes off at a good pace and starts with an okay story to pick up after Darksiders I. Unfortunately, there is just not good story maintenance throughout the entire game. Basically, the game drops the "story... Read Full Review

Better than the first one, if there were not some glitches...
in this sequel you're Death Himself and you try to redeem your brother, War who was killed by the Charred Council. You must get to the Well of Souls and save his soul. You have the same moves as in the first game, but th... Read Full Review

Zelda meets Prince of Persia meets God of War.
Literally. That's all this game is. It combines three heavy hitters into one package. And it works....for the most part. Combat is fun enough but way too sparse. The ENTIRE GAME follows the same Zelda formula - Enter ... Read Full Review
