What Gamespot Users have to say about Darkwatch (2005)

A solid FPS experience, a few flaws keeps this game from being the best FPS out there, but it's close.
Darkwatch is a FPS set in the Wild Wild West setting of an outlaw called Jericho Cross. The story starts out as Jericho was about to rob his last train and retire, but instead of gold he finds, it's Lazarus, the vampire ... Read Full Review

The storytelling leaves me to think someone needs to get in rehab and quick!

Great idea!
This game was a great idea. There are many vampire games out there, but very few good western themed games. Okay, I can't think of any really good ones. They put these two genres together and came out with a great gam... Read Full Review

Your standard FPS with some pretty cool vampire powers thrown in.
The thought of playing a first person shooter in a Western setting with demons and monsters sounded pretty interesting the first time I heard it. Vampire powers made the game sound even better. The problem with Darkwatch... Read Full Review

Darkwatch is good. Could have been great, but the only things holding this game back is the multiplayer and length.
Just finished getting through Darkwatch and let me tell you it is well worth the time and money to play this game. Overall I would rate the game a 8.5/10. Could have been higher, but the only things holding this game bac... Read Full Review

Darkwatch is the epitome of the term "short but sweet".
If you’re a rabid fan of vampires, the Wild West, or vampires in the Wild West, then Darkwatch might just tickle your fancy. Developed by High Moon Studios (formerly Sammy Studios), Darkwatch is a no nonsense run-and-gun... Read Full Review

Don't expect too much and you might just end up having some fun.
The first thing you'll notice with Darkwatch is how fast-paced the game is - not only does your character move fast, but the abundance of FMV cut scenes during the game's opening stanza will leave you in no doubt that yo... Read Full Review

Darkwatch had everything to be something different. Is it? I think not.
Darkwatch gets out of its grave and attempt to enter the Free For All fight of the FPS genre. Sadly, it ends to be ranked in the 'good but not quite' genre of B classe games.. Darkwatch can't stand against games li... Read Full Review
