A fantastic game that is often disregarded as sex appeal and nothing more.
Dead or Alive 5 will not be coming any time soon, so I thought it would be appropriate to review the 4th now, because as old as it is, it is still the best fighter you can get. The Dead or Alive series has taken an u... Read Full Review

It was a great addition too the DOA series!
I really thought it was a good game. I thought that the blue kasumi girl was pretty hard, but after about three to four tries I could beat her with anyone in the game. I never did unlock Tengu because I never did do time... Read Full Review

One of the most refined fighters ever made.
The name "Dead or Alive" instantly brings to mind two concepts: good graphics and breast physics. For a fighting game franchise, it's not the best reputation to have, and for the most part of the series' life, it's an un... Read Full Review

It's a solid fighter, a little dated today, but still a solid fighter.
DOA 4 was one of the first releases for the 360 so it has a good 5 years to date in it's back, and even if it looks good today you can see the visuals tent to age a little. If you play the "arcade" mode like I do, you ca... Read Full Review

Appealing graphics, frustrating gameplay
The graphics of the game are certainly the most appealing element, together with the unlockables bonuses you can achieve (costumes, objects). The ladies are really gorgeous and the landscape (if you only had the time to ... Read Full Review

Simply the worst DOA game ever, extremely lazy cash-in on behalf of Team Ninja. This is strictly for hardcore fans only.
Single Player Mode Review: With a heavy heart, I have to really bash this game which is difficult since I've been a pretty big fan of the DoA series since I first played the original arcade game. Whilst the 'core' of... Read Full Review

While everyone copied Street Fighter Team Ninja copied Tekken, this is definitely for fans only.
The last Doa I played was doa 2 on ps2, which was a nice solid fighting game, wasn't groundbreaking, but it was fun, not as complicated as virtua fighter but deeper than tekken or other 3d fighting games, with its counte... Read Full Review

a true classic
it's still by far the best looking 3D fighter that I've seen. Everything moves so fluid and quick. The transitions between multi layered stages are excellent and still a lot better than what I've seen in Tekken 6. The... Read Full Review
