The first dragonball z game that I owned (and still got it mane). Okay, lets just say this game is obsolete compared to all other Dragonball Z games. Gameplay: The gameplay is not bad for Dimps first try. Hey it has a... Read Full Review

The game that started the Budokai series.
This is the game that started it all. This game is one of the best out of all the budokai games made. The story is extremely well told exactly from the tv show and the character roster is great from the Saiyan to the And... Read Full Review

DragonballZ Budokai is a great game to start the budokai series. Its just fun to pass story mode.
This game's story mode is the best story mode in any dbz game, except maybe budokai 3 greatest hits. The story mode captures the feel of the anime, but the fighting isnt all that great. When i first got this game a few y... Read Full Review

Awesome! One of the best DBZ games I ever played. (I've played Budokai 3, Tenkaichi 2, and Sagas)
Gameplay: This isn't Dragonball Z budokai tenkaichi 2, but, it's still very fun. Even though the story mode is kind of short, this game is super fun! This game isn't nearly as fun as Dragonball Z budokai tenkaichi 2, b... Read Full Review

Ah...memories. Welcome to the game that started it all. Budokai 2, 3, Budokai Tenkaichi 1, 2, and now, 3!
Made me so happy. In fact, it was the very first game I got for the PS2! FUN! Although Goku's Kamehameha's were....*laughs* yellow....I didn't really care. Not a really bad amount of characters, and more than adequate, a... Read Full Review

This game has good multi player, but has an extremely short story mode.
Story mode took me 3-5 hrs. to beat. Multi player is very fun. I can play for hours. Once you get to know the controls you can beat all your friends in this game. Buy it if you have someone to play this game with or it m... Read Full Review

For the first in the Budokai series, it was a great attempt....
When I look back at this game the fighting gameplay is very clumpsy compared with the newer budokai games but thats to be expect. The best part of Budokai 1 for me was the great story mode. Still the only DBZ game to ... Read Full Review
