What Gamespot Users have to say about Fable III

Worth the buy if you've enjoyed either of the first two Fables.
I was really disappointed in the acheivments that they chose to use. Having to trade weapons with other online players in a broken online system is not what I had hoped for. That said, I really enjoyed the game. I fel... Read Full Review

The beginning is way to controlled, but once you advance into the story it develops into a great game.
Fable 3 begins with an overly controlled beginning. i feel like lionhead were playing the game rather than me. It was simply, go here, click that. Once the game develops into a story though it does become interesting. I ... Read Full Review

Fable 3 is a game that no gamer should miss

Fable III definitely feels like what Fable II should of been, but has enough charm to stand on its own.
Atmosphere. Fable has always possessed such a whimsical, fantastical world that it is almost inherently hard to dislike. Even though the third entry is moving into the "industrial" age, the same English-humor is ever pre... Read Full Review

With Fable III Lionhead is further away from the groundbreaking idea they presented as Project Ego all those years ago.
The original Fable certainly wasn't a masterpiece. But it was a bold attempt to revolutionize the RPG franchise. Although it was a RPG-Lite all the traditional elkements were there and the special Fable flavor made it wo... Read Full Review

Major waste of time + total crap = Fable 3 (should be Fable 2.5).
I had more fun shaving my hair. Usually sequels are better than they're preprocessors. But Fable 3 actually goes in reverse and makes you wonder why Lionhead studios would make such a game. Fable 2 was a terrific ride. F... Read Full Review

Fable III, while generally simplistic and lacking in side quests, is just a fun, addicting experience.
Fable III is my favorite from the series. The RPG elements are cool, as always in the Fable series, with it's fantastic player-computer interface. The new Road to Rule system is a very cool way to implement the purchase ... Read Full Review

Fun to play, and great graphics... the storyline was a little quick and dry, but had a good twist near the end.
The graphics were the single most enticing part of this game in my opinion. They left you feeling completely immersed in a new land, and as if Albion was a real place. As within the other games in this series, some are... Read Full Review

A different kind of game, but not a bad one.
This game has a huge and unique engine for everything. Your property where all your dyes, gifts, options, clothes, weapons, everything, belongs is called 'The Sanctuary'. By pressing a certain button, you teleport to he... Read Full Review

Under-developed and over-hyped, Fable 3 is good for one shallow play through and padding your gamerscore. Nothing more.
Now I've only jumped into the series on this game and haven't bought into the series due to the fact that promised features keep disappearing as the sequels role out. That being said, at a 39.99$ price point and the prom... Read Full Review
