What Gamespot Users have to say about Fable III

Its appeal and beauty lies in the inherently intangible magic of the medium.
I've always had an interesting relationship with the Fable series, it always brought me almost equal amounts of joy and disappointment. It's like a family member you know will never realize its full potential, but you lo... Read Full Review

Good follow up to Fable II but not much new
I picked this up after playing and really liking Fable II. Fable III picks up after Fable II with a new threat/threats on Albion. Story for the game is decent but can be slow at times. I did enjoy the choices in the g... Read Full Review

Our hero's health is definitely higher than ever.
You are about to witness something rare, a player like me praising a game like this. Especially after my little disagreement with Pete in a video on youtube, during the launch of Fable 2. I was fascinated with the... Read Full Review

My completion left me feeling wholly unsatisfied and somewhat cheated.
When fable 3 hit store shelves, it was met with very mixed responses. As a big fan of Fable 2, I was certain that I would enjoy Fable 3 just as much regardless of some negative reviews, considering even Fable 2 had its f... Read Full Review

Interested game, but main story script is a but boring
The game is indeed has good graphics and the gameplay is actually good but the story to the game is a but too flat and boring . The game needs more action and it needs to pick up at the beginning. The start of he game is... Read Full Review

Fable 3 tries too hard to reinvent and innovate the formula from the two previous games. While good, it is lacking.
Fable and Fable 2 were onto something good. The formula didn't need to be changed for the third game; it just needed a new story line. The story line of the Hero's child is a good one, but the game is bogged down by sm... Read Full Review

Boros returns for one last time to Albion, but this time, he's wearing stupid gauntlets that let you use magic.
Boros here, and this is definitaly the worst Fable of them all. If you read my previous two reviews of the first two Fables, then you'd know my common complaint between them all was the lack of the story, in the fact th... Read Full Review

Good, not great.
The third entry in this series failed to live up to the standards it made for itself. The story is alright, shoving the kingdom of Albion ahead a generation, with the playable character being the son/daughter of the Her... Read Full Review

Yet again, Fable makes a positive start but then provides another anti-climax
The Fable series is an easy to play RPG which doesn't take itself too seriously with its constant humour throughout the characters and quests and the inclusion of its silly social system. The hero from Fable 2 had two ch... Read Full Review

Nothing compared to Fable II! It's like the took all the good bits of Fable II and either changed them or removed them!
I bought this game after loving Fable II but quickly found that in reality there was not much similarity between the games. Nearly everything about the game mechanics have changed and not for the better. The five biggest... Read Full Review
