What Gamespot Users have to say about Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

Though it appeals to nostalgic fans, this game is more broken than KOTOR II.
Just attempting to assign a difficulty highlights one of my frustrations with this game. Under difficulty, I see no option that says "completely easy in some cases while ridiculously hard in others." I was killed on se... Read Full Review

Short and sweet
I downloaded this title right away and could not wait to check it out. At first I admit I was a little disappointed that they did not do any upgrading on the graphics or sound at all. In fact it looks like the ripped m... Read Full Review

Loved the original games, for the amt of points you have to spend to get this it is not worth the money DO NOT d/l it!
I love the old retro games FF series, played them on my PSone, and this sounded good, like the old school feel to it. And that is where my praise ends. For the 800 points you pay to d/l this game you would figure you wou... Read Full Review

I paid 1000 Wii points for this?!
I played and finished the original title on the PS, and it was incredibly long and immersive. This title, though, was far too short for the money I paid. I cannot believe that the only real time I spent on this title was... Read Full Review

A throughly derivative rehash of my favorite game of all time.
Final Fantasy IV was my first trip into RPG land before I knew what an RPG was and I've never since had an RPG experience quite like it. As such my unhealthy compulsion to play this game, combined with my disappointment ... Read Full Review

Wicked!
Final Fantasy 2 for SNES was by far my favorite game of that generation. At the time that it was released, I was 15 years old, and the story was truly epic. I would sit in school and crave going home to play (and not d... Read Full Review
