An Ambitious effort that will impress once you are past the learning curve.
Final Fantasy 14 is an ambitious effort in that it combines the Cinematic feel of a Single Player Final Fantasy, into an MMO. This at first appears to slow down the pace of the game and definitely took me by surprise. ... Read Full Review

It seems the only thing people are praising of this game are the graphics. Truth: the world looks bland and uninspiring.
I've thought about the areas where this title improves the MMO genre: I couldn't find any. The game doesn't break any molds but manages to avoid any and all massively multiplayer gaming conventions that we've been bui... Read Full Review

Beautiful world,... get used to seeing a lot of it as you trudge from boring quest to boring quest.
The game's graphics are great, even with the excessive copy and pasting done by the designers. If you like linear quests that are repetitive this game might be for you. Personally I would rather spend more time fightin... Read Full Review

Most disappointing game of 2010. Avoid.
Let me start off by saying that I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series. FFV-X are some of the best gaming experiences a person can have (although time has done a number on some of the earlier games. I would match my ... Read Full Review

Major disappointment. Not worth investing any time into. No mana regen, no auction houses, no weapon/armor vendors.
Major disappointment. I spent $600 upgrading my video card and power supply solely for FF14. After playing for a few days, I abandoned my steak in the game and refuse to invest anymore time into it. 1. No Auction Hous... Read Full Review

Repackaged Final Fantasy XI, but with fewer jobs and penalizes the player if they play too long. You have been warned!
The major problems with this game need to be addressed first before any positive reviews can ever be done, that being said only fanbois will give this game 8-10 point rating, which it clearly does not deserve, at least n... Read Full Review
