What Gamespot Users have to say about Half-Life 2: Episode Two
- Rating:9
Episode 2 easily outclasses Episode 1 in every way.
When Valve originally announced their plans to deliver the next part of the Half-Life story in episodic form everyone was pretty excited. Instead of waiting years for a full sequel, fans expected to get episode sized pie... Read Full Review

Short and sweet.
I've always been a big fan of the Half Life series. MMO and current single-player FPS games are certainly fun, but they always seem to lack story, substance, and drama. The good people at Valve have been carrying the tor... Read Full Review

Another Episode, More Amazement.
Story: You're Gordon Freeman. Play HL2 and Ep1 for the rest. Graphics: 3 Years Old and Still look great. Audio: Valve are the masters of audio. Some of the best in the gaming business. Missions: Range from clear... Read Full Review

MIT graduates nowadays learn science, technology, weapons training and anti-alien, anti-terrorist techniques :)
I know my title says 2 weeks while in reality I spent less time playing the games in the orange box because I got hooked to them. Since talking only about Half Life 2 Ep 2 I will center my views on this game only. The ... Read Full Review

A truly cinematic experience. On par with the original and the advances it made at the time.
We all know how great Half Life is. Even Episode 1 wasn't that bad (must be something about Episode 1's being the weakest in other franchises as well!). Episode 2 combines all that was great and adds more emotion than ... Read Full Review

The best Half-Life game on the Source Engine.
While it doesn't have the same revolutionary feel that Half-Life did but nore did HL2 and it is based on a near 4 year old (due to be released n 2003) engine but surprisingly enough it still doesn't look or feel dated. I... Read Full Review

One of the greatest story lines I've ever seen
As HL2 this game continues with its great story and its great gameplay and engine, but what I have noticed the most in this part was the story. The game and its mision are great and really fun playing, but the way the st... Read Full Review

Really very good, but I happened to play Bioshock and Portal before starting Episode 2, and it suffered by comparison.
Having played Portal and Bioshock just before sparking up this game, it ended up feeling somewhat dated. Had I played this first I probably would have given it a 9.0 as it is a great chapter in the saga with some satis... Read Full Review

A reason to consider games a form of art. The most emotionally intense experience for a long time. *SPOILERS*
What can someone say for such an accomplishment? The second chapter of the Half-Life 2 trilogy is an astonishing achievement, from a company well-known for its quality, Valve. It's not the graphics, which are out-dated... Read Full Review

Episode 2 has finally arrived, though despite an irritating cliffhanger, the game is easily better than HL2 itself.
Every once in a while a sequel rises above its predecessors to set amazing new standards, not only for the future of its own series, but as an example for other game developers to follow. Half-Life 2: Episode 2 delivers... Read Full Review
