What Gamespot Users have to say about Lair
- Rating:10
Your Sixaxis will fly around the room as you try to cope with the crappy controls.
This is the reason I bought my PS3… brilliant, innovative games like Lair. It's Ace. Anyone who says it isn't is a big fat Liar… which is an anagram of Lair… good eh? I especially love the way the when you fly o... Read Full Review

It`s a good game, well the gameplay sucks but it has a great story, it has great graphics and it`s interesting, so if you don`t want to risk your money, just rent it. I don`t think this game is the best in the world, but... Read Full Review

Oustanding production values and a fantastic story make Lair worth your time, despite some nearly broken controls.
Lair was hyped and hyped, but it just couldn't deliver. The game concept is refreshing and new, but it's incredible how much Factor 5 screwed up. You play as Rohn, a skyguard for Asyliia, and your job is to kill those... Read Full Review

Less texture popping, better controls, and a better framerate would have made Lair an instant classic.
The original release of Lair was a huge disaster as stated by many, critics and users combined. I for one did not know about Lair. I didn't own a Sony Playstation 3 during that time and I was oblivious to the hugely di... Read Full Review

Reading the review back in august, i passed this game aside. Playing this game with the add-on, made me change my mind.
This is a game that failed due to good intentions, with untested technology. All of it fixed with a patch (add-on). I normally don't write reviews but I feel I should speak for this game. I know you get one shot, and tha... Read Full Review

A game that actually uses the ps3 motion sensor to the full...and the critics hate it. Why?
I got this game for a staggeringly low price of 4 bucks. Bargain? Hell yeah! It's not the longest game, but it's certainly a different offering and a real challenge to master. Your basically a topgun fighter in medievil... Read Full Review

Good idea, pulled off badly.
When you pick up the box in store, it really looks like a promising game. It has dragons, for heavens sake! But when you put the game into you PS3, you are immediately brought back to the ground with just a ridiculously ... Read Full Review

Lair is the perfect example of a hyped game gone horribly wrong.
For years, Factor 5 has been making Star Wars games for Nintendo's platforms, and they were hailed as one of the best developers around for their respective genre. Before the PS3 was released, Factor 5 announced a new g... Read Full Review

just waiting and hoping for lair 2.
You shouldn't play Lair. Not unless you have some morbid interest in experiencing what is quite possibly one of the worst control schemes ever devised. It's a shame because as a cinematic experience, it's stunning to wat... Read Full Review

One year later, and for $17 dollars no less, this game was well worth the wait and quiet fun.
Browsing through Gamestop and and checking the bargins(seeing as I had a $20 dollar gift card) I decided to give this game a try. I figured I had nothing to lose and granted I didn't lose that much money in the proses. ... Read Full Review
