What Gamespot Users have to say about Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes

Puzzle Quest meets Final Fantasy Tactics -- a fun and addictive puzzle/JRPG strategy game.
When this came out, I was expecting it to be either a Might and Magic themed strategy Japanese-styled RPG, or a watered-down clone of the old PC strategy RPG titles. It's neither... or both... or... Gamespot's review ... Read Full Review

A great puzzle RPG with a well balanced system, fantastic presentation and hours of brain churning fun.
INTRO A Might & Magic game on the DS, what is the world coming to. But this game is highly addictive and well put together. CHARACTERS Do you like high fantasy? You'd better because Might & Magic is pure high fa... Read Full Review

One of the best of 2009.
I've always been a fan of the might and magic series and when I heard they were releasing a game for the DS I was a bit worried, luckily I was surprised with a great game. Here is a breakdown of the game. Gameplay:9 ... Read Full Review

An interesting new battle system makes this a fresh, fun strategy rpg.
The new battle system brings fresh, and fun gameplay to the table and makes this strategy rpg definitely worth buying. Its basically a match 3 kind of thing, but this changes as sometimes you will need a 2x2 block of mat... Read Full Review

Superb gameplay that keeps you going
Honestly the game is not much like a rpg completely to me The "battle systems" are much like a puzzle in my eyes Which gets highly addictive since it all comes from strategy Nor does it take too long Same for the fac... Read Full Review

Solid game mechanics with a few truly unique gameplay elements. Some random luck issues though.

Too much trial and error and a lack of in-match unit info hamper an outstanding, original game.
I'm going to completely ignore the "Might and Magic" portion of the title and just call this game Clash of Heroes (or just Clash). I'm an oldschool gamer and I played M&M 1-6 over the years, but never got into the Heroes... Read Full Review

this rpg/puzzle offering makes for a very complex and very original take on the standard three-of-a-kind puzzle game.
funnily enough, might & magic is a game series that i am totally unfamiliar with, despite its rpg and fantasy roots. honestly, the selling point for me was the fact that it was (according to early reports) a role playing... Read Full Review

I wasn't sure what to think about this game initially, but Might and Magic Clash of Heroes is a remarkably superb game
Firstly I'll preface this review by stating that, initially, I wasn't particularly interested in the game in general and wasn't expecting much of it. Like with Puzzle Quest: Challenge of The Warlords, I was extremely wro... Read Full Review

Don't play it at night, because suddenly it's Morning!
As my opener states, this will eat up hours of your life, and it is amazing how easily it does it. The game has the most boring and confusing start to any game I've ever played. The story is interesting, but recycled. Mo... Read Full Review
