not as bad as u would think
Nightshade is slightly better equipped than Hotsume was. In addition to her katana, she wields a pair of kodachi as well. You can execute combos with these by hitting down and X, and holding Square will drain a bar of ch... Read Full Review

A Retry Counter....that should tell you right there how difficult this game can be....
First of all, to state the obvious to most. Nightshade is an action game brought to you by the makers of Shinobi for the PS2. Simply put, if you liked Shinobi, you'll like this game. In Shinobi for the PS2, you played... Read Full Review

Ah, Hibana... There is so much -good- about this game it makes you want to forget all the bad aspects of it.
Nightshade...if you're like me, you bought Nightshade because Shinobi's difficulty beat you bloody, and you hoped you might actually see the end of this game. Well good luck. After three months i finally beat this, bu... Read Full Review

Nightshade is a lot like playing a 3-D version of one of the old 16-bit fighter/platformers. Since it is the follow-up game to Shinobi which had it's roots in the 16-bit era, this is no surprise. However, we demand more ... Read Full Review

Great, but lacking Shinobi's intuitive design
Gameplay: The gameplay is a strong point about Nightshade. The controls are alot more fluid than they were in Shinobi. The "unique once you've mastered it" mechanic from Shinobi is still intact though if you havn't maste... Read Full Review
