What Gamespot Users have to say about Prey (2006)
- Rating:5.2
Ha, stick with Quake IV if you like Multiplayer, and stick with Half Life if you like single player.
I have to say I was originally very excited about this game. The whole premise or idea of it sounded really cool. Once I down loaded the demo though all my optomism went right out the window. To start with the single ... Read Full Review

Prey for the Xbox 360 is the best idea for a first person shooter to date. Too bad all the wrong people developed it!
At first glance Prey is another First Person Shooter (FPS) for the Xbox 360. Where it sets itself apart from others in the genre is in fact the most uninventive features of the game. Because of this Prey is quite easil... Read Full Review

PREY single OK. I give it a 7.9. Nice graphics. QUAKE4 better. PREY Multi-Player rocks. Any MODs coming?
So, I think this game was pretty good. I enjoyed the 1st time play through, and only found the very last few boss battles tough, so I ended up putting on GOD mode for the very last battle, as I was a little bored of the... Read Full Review

It might not be the best, but it's fun and has a few great ideas.
Prey has a lot in common with Quake 4. It has cybernetic enemy's, the same fast paced corridor shooting, and the same graphics engine. But despite it's initial appearance, this is no clone. There's boatloads of gravity... Read Full Review

Very VERY underrated!!
Wow!! A 7.5!??! Thats nothing, this game deserves far more than a 7.5. I cant believe they call it average... Sure maybe at its core its just a FPS, but so is every other game! I mean at its core, Halo was a... Read Full Review

The best FPS to invade the Xbox 360 since Call of Duty2.
Prey was a complete surprise. After playing the demo on XBL I was hooked. The graphics take you to another world while the story keeps you there. The Single player story draws you in from the very beginning. Tommy... Read Full Review

Greatest single player campaign in any FPS on the 360 to date.
Gameplay: Those familiar with the frag-fest style of shooting games such as found in the Unreal Tournament series will find themselves right at home with the frantic pace of Prey. The reader probably has already h... Read Full Review

Prey is INNOVATIVE because of three totally new FPS features--Portals, Spirit Walking, and Rotating Gravity. Buy it now!
I'm astounded by the average response Prey is receiving!!! Prey is probably the most innovative FPS since Half-Life 2 (don't talk to me about Half-Life 2 Episode One. The first three chapters of Half-Life 2 were much ... Read Full Review
