What Gamespot Users have to say about Siren

Aliens, Guns, Paint ball, 15 year old style of gaming. Stop if you heard this one 15 years ago. Its almost that bad
Its the stale story of a screen, and a gun. And that gun sticking out of the bottom of the screen "Are you still with me on this one?" And also you have the vary refreshing view of Aliens in front of you. And g... Read Full Review

A must-buy game for any survival-horror fan.
Siren is by far in my opinion one of the best survival-horror games that stands out between Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Siren is a third-person survival horror game where you have to use your head instead of your fist... Read Full Review

This game is one of the most tedious I've ever played.
I bought this game under a recommendation from a friend. I don't know what I was thinking. This game has a couple cool elements to it but for the most part it is pretty boring and tedious. And the story...don't even get ... Read Full Review

One of the last games I'll have bought for PS2. One of the only PS2 games I will be holding onto.
I bought God of War 2 recently. I played about half of it, and then I went "Huh. So this is pretty much GOW again." It didn't grip me. So I went bargain bin hunting again, and saw Siren. I had wanted to try it ... Read Full Review

For Die Hard Survival Horror Fans Only, VERY Steep Learning Curve
For the first 10 hours I played this game, I would have given it about a 3 or a 4 out of 10. Along with many other people that played this game, I thought the game was too tough, unfair, and very frustrating. But I stu... Read Full Review

What went from a normal japanese horror games turned into a british corny and boring plot
Siren is similar to the Silent Hill games but you have to be stealth. You do the same thing over and over. Its just ten people trying to get somwhere without dying. The worst part is you japanese but speak british. A... Read Full Review

I think that this is what the horror genre should look to for a guide, but it really needs a touch up.
Siren has been criticized for being harder than most, more complex (the menu actions), the lack of weapons (they are rather scarce), and the sheer fact that the enemies can't be killed. However, other games have rarely ... Read Full Review

Siren is very much like Silent Hill but it is the difficulty that throws me off.
Gamespot got it right. This game is trial and error. I cannot tell you how many times I died in the game. Its so insanely hard. The gameplay is fun, though. The graphics are beautiful in my opinion. I like the anima... Read Full Review

What went wrong?
Forbidden Siren looked good when I saw it on the shelf, but after a mere few minuets of playing it when I got home, I was bored. The first mission started with me controlling some Japanese dude escaping another Japanese ... Read Full Review
