Great fast-paced 2D and 3D Sonic style gameplay with beautiful graphics and great music but has control issues.
I've been a fan of the Sonic series ever since the Sonic games graced the SEGA GENESIS,but even a diehard Sonic fan would have to admit Sonic's transition from 2D to 3D hasn't gone as smoothly as people would like. So... Read Full Review

Sonic Colors isn't the perfect Sonic game, but the fast gameplay and superb presentation make it one of the better ones.
It's really hard to get excited about a new Sonic game. His legacy as platformer royalty has fallen. Unlike other 3D platformer heroes, Sonic hasn't been the most adaptive. 3D Sonic games have ranged from so-so to downri... Read Full Review

not the best sonic game, but beats the other recent 3D sonic games
This definitely is not the best sonic game, but it is worth renting. In this game, there is a nice switch of 2D and 3D platforming. The graphics are pretty good for a wii game. And the power ups from the wisps are unique... Read Full Review

It will not change the platforming world, but at this point showing there is hope for Sonic is much more important
Watching Sonic struggle through the 3-D gaming era was like watching an aging professional sports player go through the twilight of his career: you see things starting to fall apart to a point where everybody thinks ther... Read Full Review

Sega delivered a well-needed jolt into a stumbling franchise, as well as just a great game to take home and play.
(+) unexpected improvements in voice acting and story; an arsenal of power ups shake up the fun without over-saturating it; excellent visuals and music; plenty of variety in level design (-) useless multiplayer; occas... Read Full Review

Sonic Colors is a highly enjoyable game despite it's flaws, reaching a level of quality the series hasn't seen in years.
Sonic Colors is Sonic's fourth game for the Nintendo Wii. The gameplay in Sonic Colors has Sonic racing through a variety of theme-park inspired worlds created by the notorious Dr. Eggman. Along with most of the usual ab... Read Full Review
