What Gamespot Users have to say about Splatterhouse

Gamespot Review Team fail hard, again. Splatterhouse is a great new generation game based on a old school game.
I'm not surprised that gamespot gave such a poor score to a game that really should've got at least a 6.0 + score easily. Gamespot review team is not the same as used to be back in the days..... Well enough about it.... ... Read Full Review

A real beat'em up for the real men !
Sure... if you start comparing Splatterhouse to Uncharted 2, that's where you give it a "gamespot" review of 4.5 out of 10 But Splatterhouse needs to be compared to those classic beat'em up we've been missing for year... Read Full Review

The Good vs Bad when it comes down to SplatterHouse.
The fact that the entertainment industry has been losing its sense of originality isn't much of a secret anymore. Especially for the fact that there are so many terrible remakes being released. When looking at this game ... Read Full Review

Not worth 60 bucks, but one hell of a rent!
If you like deep, sophisticated games, I'd steer clear of this one. But If you're like me and can appreciate some simplistic, hyper-violent madness, then this at the very least is a damn good rental. I played the splatte... Read Full Review

Solid beat em up that any fan of the genre or series should check out.
Splatterhouse is quite an interesting piece of work, it tries very hard to take gore to a new disgusting level and excels in a way, but behind all that blood and colons lies a very solid beat-em-up that any fan of the ge... Read Full Review

If you go at this game with realistic expectations, you might actually have a blast with it
Every once in a while you fall on a game that just looks so broken that you don't even want to give it a try. Splatterhouse was one of those games for me; after seeing multiple trailers for it showing the broken mechanic... Read Full Review

Bored? Down a fourth of vodka and fire this campy gorefest up!
At first playthrough, this game is hard. Almost unforgivingly so. Start out on easy and pound away until you have purchased most of the attacks. Then restart on a more difficult level. After doing this, Splatterhouse bec... Read Full Review

Let me start off by saying this game is fun...repetitive but fun....full of over the top gore, you will see blood be shed, organs fly, arms and heads ripped off, all the reason this is called "SPLATTERHOUSE" weak stomach... Read Full Review

A remake of a classical game that just say one thing. FUN!
First off I'd like to say that this game is underrated by professional reviewer because for me it undeniably fun. The game is like I said a classical remake from a 1988 beat em' up arcade game made by Namco but unlike... Read Full Review
