Playing just one 'episode' is not enough to refresh your love for the monkey island. But its a new beginning!
I played the game soon after it was released. But I refrained from writing a review. Why? Because 1. its just an episode of a whole game, 2. this is a revival, not necessarily by Lucasarts, but by the game's one of the o... Read Full Review

Enjoyable if a little short, but well worth the money
The first episode the new Monkey Island series is an easy introduction for those who have not played, and a pleasant surprise for people returning to the series. There are some in-jokes including references to events not... Read Full Review

While generally well done, this chapter had some unnecessary tedium that took some fun out of it for me.
I throughouly enjoyed the first Tales chapter, and waited with baited, and slightly minty, breath. Having played through it... I'm REALLY looking forward to Chapter 3, but for the wrong reasons... Don't get me wrong, ... Read Full Review

Entertaining, laughable, ... and yet, missing something.
This bad boy of a game had the flare, the pizzazz, but it was missing in the depth and challenge. The game play itself works out nicely. You are able to move Guybrush around with a simple click hold drag movement; br... Read Full Review

A fantastic surprise to someone new to the Monkey Island series.
I've never played a Monkey Island game up until this point, which disappoints me now, considering how much I loved Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1. It's great- really, really great. The story is amazing, and the charact... Read Full Review

LucasArts could have done better, but still worth playing for the hardcore fans.
If you are a fan of Guybrush Threepwood (as I am) then chances are you have been waiting for this game, or something like it, for nearly a decade. When I heard there was going to be a new Monkey Island series for the W... Read Full Review

Abysmally bad sound spoils a funny, old school adventure.
Monkey Island is a classic from way back when Lucas Arts cared about story as the graphics couldn't keep up. The stories from previous titles have been witty, have developed through the games, and never bore. Eagerl... Read Full Review

Choppy at best. Get the PC version instead.
TellTale should be embarrassed that they released a Wii version of this poor quality. Flawed graphics and textures, stuttering audio, tiny hint text that is too hard to read on a television, random pausing in the video ... Read Full Review
