I don't know how to describe this...
This game is really a dreck. The gameplay sucks, the controls are confusing, and nearly everything dosn't work, or look right. Stay away from this game! THE GOOD- 1) Entertaining for a few minutes (3/10) 2) Ok graph... Read Full Review

This is an annoying game that makes me to quit playing.
The trailer seems good but the actual gameplay is disappointing. The game cannot be saved on demand. I must play for dozens of minutes before it is auto-saved. But, I never notice when it is auto-saved. If I quit the ga... Read Full Review

Off in too many directions
Okay, it is a Video Game based off of a movie. But not just anymovie, but a Kids Movie. What's not to love about it? Well, the controls. Think Prince of Persia, just more suckier. On the positive side: There is a lot ... Read Full Review

Although this is far from being the greatest game ever it deserves way more than a 2.
How can you give this game a score of 2 or anything below a 5. I am not a fan of the movie or the book if there is one or anything like that. The only reason I even played it was because someones son I was watching had... Read Full Review

It's unbearable to see a good book turn into a crap game.
First it was called Northen Lights then when they were making the film they changed the name to The Golden Compass. If you have read the book you'll know most of the charcters like Lyra, Pan, Roger or Iorek. If seen the... Read Full Review

Beware: This game has no real ending and is more often frustrating than fun.
I wanted to play the game to kill boredom and de-stress some. It wasn't worth it. PROS: -Graphics are realistic, though not as smooth as would be hoped. -Great voice acting. -Cinematics from the movie. CONS: ... Read Full Review

The Golden Compass? In game form? As good as that idea sounds, the game fails at being anything but a mediocre cash-in
Ever since the release of the Harry Potter series, Oxford has become associated more with magical children than late hours at the Bodleian. And maybe it's because I didn't attend the illustrious Exeter College, but I ho... Read Full Review

Pullman, you might want to stay inside for a while.
First of all this game gives the book a bad name, though I found the book unimpresive. STORY The story is very weak, overall not long enough. It does not follow the book the way that it should. It does not keep peopl... Read Full Review
