What Gamespot Users have to say about The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

While repeditivity issues are still there, and boringness can be rife, this game is still a fantastic experience.
I know i gave Zelda: TP a hard time, and im not taking any of that back, but i will say that i enjoy the cute handheld zelda games to a MUCH higher extent. You start off as Link (Or Jono, Monkey J, Elephant and anythi... Read Full Review

It's the same song and dance (which is fine) with the same poor controls as its predecessor (which isn't).
I love the Zelda franchise as a whole and I love the Zelda games individually. Taken on their own merit each stands as, at the very least, an entertaining game with memorable moments, an enjoyable story and a rich world... Read Full Review

It's a bit of a step down for the franchise, but harcore Zelda fans will find plenty to like about Spirit Tracks.
I admit that I'm one of those nerdy Zelda junkies. The games are just so fun, that I can't get enough of them. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was the first game on the handheld in this awesome series. Spirit Trac... Read Full Review

Its a watered-down Zelda game with *rare* moments of greatness.
This game could've been great, but it fell way short. ---THE BAD--- First of all, I HATE the train feature. Its not only extremely time consuming, but also frustrating, and very boring. If they had auto-travel it ... Read Full Review

Spirit Tracks offers a much deeper and thrilling experience than Phantom Hourglass, and adds even more to the series.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, number 15 in the beyond-the-boundary-of-normal-popularity Zelda series made by Nintendo. Phantom Hourglass, the first DS Zelda, did a lot of great things for the series, but here's the... Read Full Review

I liked Phantom's Hourglass, but now it feels like it was a prototype and Spirit Tracks is the real deal.
If you hoped that there would be a game where Tetra and Link found the new land, you will be disappointed, because Spirit Tracks take place a hundred years after they find the land. If you hoped they would call the land ... Read Full Review

Derailed.
So me and Nintendo have different ideas on what to do with this Zelda license. I tend to think that the franchise needs an overhaul, a desperate tweaking of its stagnant format. I say enough to tired gameplay ideas, like... Read Full Review

One of the most anticipated games of the second half of 2009 has definitely proven to be worth buying.
Ok. Let's get one thing straight. The Legend of Zelda is easily the best video game series EVER. However, Phantom Hourglass wasn't as good as zelda standards due to a very average Joe storyline and the infamous, repetiti... Read Full Review
