What Gamespot Users have to say about Thief: Deadly Shadows

This game was great from beginning to end. It really pulled me in with the story, visuals and sounds. A must play.
Thief III: Deadly Shadows is the first one of this series that I have played. I normally do not play FPS style games because I have a low tolerance for motion sickness. The pace of the movement in this game was slow en... Read Full Review

Wonderful lighting effects...."olde worlde" atmosphere.....one of the best games I have played!!!
This game took me quite by surprise - in a pleasant way! I had been a fan of the first two thief games for the pc and I very much expected its latest, multi-platform version to be "dumbed down". I couldn't have been more... Read Full Review

Good game with glitches.
It was the first Thief game that I have played and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the in city part better than the missions, they were somewhat linear to me. I did get frustrated with the glitches though. The sound went out ... Read Full Review

It's too bad so many people will miss Thief 3's greatness.
Thief was one of the first stealth-action games to ever be made. It was revolutionary, with great gameplay and ideas. Thief 2 was also an excellent game. Thief 3 continues this great game franchise, but unfortunately wil... Read Full Review

Deadly Shadows is a great game... and probably just what Looking Glass would've wanted to make if it was still here...
In the years since Looking Glass created the stealth genre, it's gravitated more towards action e.g. Splinter Cell, Hitman, etc. But this isn’t (and has never been) the case with Thief… and this is probably why many peop... Read Full Review

Thief deadly shadows offers some of the best stealth-action I've seen, and of course, the shadows are done very well.
I have played many games in my day, and I have to say that unfortunately many of them lack a certain feel, or overall style for me to really appreciate, and reccomend to friends, but Thief: deadly shadows is without a do... Read Full Review

Thief is a game that will captivate you like Splinter Cell and will keep you playing with a long story.
Gameplay: There are little things you don't need, but it in a way has more usefull items than Splinter Cell. Ragdoll is very nice and looks very good in this game too. Graphics: Lighting that almost is Splinter Cell ... Read Full Review

Garret makes his way to the Xbox in this flawed but enjoyable sequel.
Thief: the game that launched the stealth genre. Or was that Metal Gear Solid? Both games came out at roughly the same time, and arguments have since ensued. If you’re more of an avid PC gamer, you’re more likely to s... Read Full Review
