What Gamespot Users have to say about Too Human

Great game with LOTS of customization options. A few tweaks and it would have been amazing!
Hey, this is my first review for a game. I thought I'd review Too Human after all the bad reviews it got when it first came out, which ultimately led to me (and probably many others) not buying it. When I saw it for £4.9... Read Full Review

Too Bad
Honestly, I thought this game had some potential in it, but of course I was wrong. Let me start off with the control, the shooting mechanics are pretty much broken, you hold down the right trigger to shoot and left trigg... Read Full Review

A brilliant world crafted around a game with a few rough edges and is far shorter than it should have been.
One thing that must be said about Too Human is that it is a fairly unique experience. Very few games are based around Norse mythology and even less have so deeply immersed itself in it. Too Human could have left it at th... Read Full Review

Some will love it and some will hate it.
Too Human is a great game held back by problems big and small. The graphics, melee, and customization might be enough for some players while innovative control schemes make a portion of the game a blast. Meanwhile a ... Read Full Review

Wow I really like this game sure there are a few things that could be done better but wow this is really good for a new IP. I didn't think I was going to like the control scheme and at first to be honest I didn't. ... Read Full Review

Crappy Controls, Camera Angles are a joke, The worst game I've ever played, Don't even waste your money renting it.
I thought this game would be descent at least based on the type of play i read it was supposed to have, and I like the sci-fi mixed in with old mythology part. But after seeing the scores from the top game sites, I actua... Read Full Review

Devil may cry meets ex gen throwback. Only play if a) you are renting it, or b) you are a gamerscore whore like myself.
Vikings.......wearing electronic gear, fighting robot 'trolls' and 'goblins'. Sounds good? Well its pretty pants really. The combat is frustrating to the extent where you might find yourself doing the 'turn it off, then ... Read Full Review

Repetitve Gameplay, Linear level design, Bad Targeting, and Frustrating enemies hold this Action/Rpg from true greatness
At first sight Too Human's Action/Rpg formula seems like a great idea, with a lot of exciting possibilities:a cybernetic twist on Norse Mythology, fluent combat system, and cool rpg elements you would think this w... Read Full Review

Too Human has surprising depth, too bad it's only slightly less flawed as it is epic. Still worth a try.
If you are reading user reviews on Gamespot then I'm sure you familiar with fans of games defending the indefensible against all logic. It's your fault if you didn't like the game because you didn't get it, or you weren'... Read Full Review

Too Human's generic foundation, flawed execution and incoherent story all add up to frustration and mediocrity
Dungeon crawlers and RPG's are a dime a dozen on the PC and while most are fairly generic, each of them can be rewarding in how they handle looting and story. The 360 on the other hand, has very few of these style of gam... Read Full Review
