FUN AND ENTERTAINING

User Rating: 9 | NBA Street Homecourt X360
The game NBA Street:Home Court is next up in this on going NBA street series. A series were it's not about the crowd or the in depth gameplay. It's just straight up basketball. Visually the game is above average, nothing to really stand up and shout about but it gets the job done. The gameplay in this game is very smooth in it's exicution and makes it easy to pull off all of these "ankle breaking moves" that are in the game. The best mode in the game is where you create a character and try to make a name for yourself by going to homecourts of NBA superstars like LeBron James, Chris Paul etc. as you go along in the game you get better and you can build up your team of 3. The game does however let you play a veriety of game types like no dunk or only dunk etc. Another great feature in the game is the double dunk where you get a player and after he has already dunked the ball once you can hold a button for the right amount of time he'll catch it and dunk it again. It's a great feature and helps when needing to build momentum. Now onto the downsides to this game, one is the lack of cutscenes or any real "story" in the games story mode players jump unrealistically high (evan though it does make the game fun) and most cannot shoot. Also there isn't mutch of a learning curve the game can almost be mastered in 10-20 minutes. Those are really the only low points in the game but overall it's very fresh and entertaining.
