Ahhhhh!

So tryouts start tomorrow!! -que the scary, dundundun music- At first, I wasn't nervous at all when I heard about tryouts. But now I am- its a round robin. And we all know how great I did in the last round robin... (see Almost Level 8). There were 29 players trying out, so she split the team into two- The Green and White. Green are Varsity and experienced/returning players, and White are freshman and JV players. White team plays a round robin, and the people with the top wins move up to the Green team, where they play challenge matches to see if where they are in Doubles/Singles, etc.

Ah, I'm scared I'll play horribly again. I know tennis is a mental game where how you feel effects your game. So I guess I should just feel confident, forget the last tournament, and go in and WIN!

See you (wish me luck ahhh!)

Tagged! And Level 8 :)

IYesterday was a big milestone for me- I reached over 400 posts (hah, I'm a noob) and I upgraded to a Super Friend :) Yipee, level 8!

In other news, ring the alarms because:

I GOT TAGGED!

6. Both my grandparents have a memory problem- one has Alzheimers, other has dementia- and are both in seperate nursing homes.

7. I'm a manga freak xD

8. I'm short for my age, my height is about the same of a young 7th grader or older 6th grader.

9. I'm not excited for high school DX

10. I've gone to only 3 concerts so far- one was Hannah Montana, another Plain White Ts and Mae, the first one was Avril Lavinge.

I tag: Dantedones, degrassi_lover, basselope7, crazyteen000, and Wiselad (unless these people have done this before xD)

Peace out,

EH

EDIT: I am a candidate for High Council for the Loyalist Committee! It would be really great if everyone came out and voted (doesn't have to be for me, but just vote!) Thanks guys!

Almost Level 8

:( I did pretty bad in the tournament. It was a round-robin.

Heres how I did:

4-0

0-4

1-3

0-4

1-3

0-4

1-3

I'm being dead serious here. I can't believe I did so bad! Even if it was my first time on grass, I feel so UGHH. Now I just have to step it up for tryouts. And never lose that badly again.

First Tennis Practice

So today I went through my first tennis practice! Yippee! Yay!

We didn't get to use the courts for about an hour because other people were using it, and some school admisintrators decided they wanted to play tennis too, so we were pushed down to the track. We ran around the track three times then did streches. Finally, we walked back to the tennis courts and started warm up drills (mini-tennis, cross court, down-the-line). Then we served some, and played matches. I mostly played Doubles matches (in fact I didn't get to play singles :( ) but Sarah (my friend who I always talk about) and I beat a senior and a college sophmore in Doubles. I just hope I get to show some skills in Singles next time, although I love Doubles so I was okay with just playing it.

Now I have a tennis lesson tomorrow morning, a tennis tournament (on grass court: I've never played on grass before!) and more tennis team practices for the next two weeks.

Wish me more luck,

EH

Tennis, Tennis, Tennis

So tomorrow is the first day of Freshman tryouts. I'm actually really nervous. Although everyone gets on the team (there are only about 10 incoming Freshman), how much you play and whether or not you get on Varsity depends on your performance during tryouts. So, thats why I'm extremely nervous.

Yesterday my friend (who I played Doubles with and we won) and I played against eachother as we never truly had a real match between us. The score ended up being 7-7 as we were playing win by two and she didn't want to play tiebreaker. The reason we never finished was because my dad came so we had to leave. But if we kept playing, I bet we would have gone even farther (like 11-11, 12-12).

So, wish me luck tomorrow and I hope I do a good job and atleast get on Varsity Doubles 2 with my friend :)

Sick :(

God I hate when I'm sick. I woke up at 5:25 am feeling horrible, and around 6 am I threw up. Then I threw up again. I couldn't eat anything besides toast, water, and soup and I couldn't even lie down for reasons that will stay disclosed.

Then I get a 100 degree fever and my stomach hurts like hell. Also, I got really cold. Although I'm better now, my hands still feeling numbish and I'm wearing a sweatshirt and a blanket on my lap and I'm still feeling cold! Yay stomach viruses.

On a happier note, since I spent today doing, well, nothing, I finished Freaks and Geeks. Oh, and I saw too many cheesy movies. I think my brains melting from watching too much tv....

Send me get wells asap,

Super depressed...

God. I have to stop reading manga. Seriously! Because everytime I start one, I read it til the end. And this new manga I started reading yesterday had a very, very sad ending :( I seriously had tears in my eyes by the end of it!! For those who want to check it out, its called Absolute Boyfriend.

On a way happier note: I finally won an Avatar Dub The Frame game :) I didn't even know because I was out today doing a study group with my friends for the massive amount of summer reading assigned for incoming freshman and then I went to my friends play Alice in Wonderland Jr (ah, it was a very trippy experience).

Gotta stop bawling my eyes out,

E.H

Freaks and Geeks and Fullmetal Alchemist, OH MY!

So lately I've been watching this tv show called Freaks and Geeks on youtube. Its really funny, and I'm on episode 14 (out of 18 I think). Has anyone else seen it besides me?

Also, I regrettably finished Fullmetal Alchemist (the manga). -Insert huge, depressed sigh here- It's not like its done forever (I just finished the released chapters--85 of them) but they come out every month or so, so its going to be awhile til I get to read a new chapter.

The Batman Rant (and Level 7! Whoot!)

To start off, I would like to say: I'M LEVEL 7! Talk-show host whoot :)

MAJOR SPOLIERS/MAJOR SPOLIERS/MAJOR SPOLIERS

Okay, now I will start the Batman rant. So, three days ago I saw Batman: The Dark Knight. I anticipated it to start off with either a bang, or a love scene, like most Superhero movies I saw. Instead, the first scene I see is these clowns robbing a bank, and then killing eachother once one of them were done their jobs. So, as you can guess, I was beyond confused. Then, at the end of the scene, you see the Joker go and drive a bus. My reaction: WTF happened in the past 20 minutes?!

After that scene, everything goes slow. I was bored for a long time of the movie. Then the plot starts when the Joker demands to see the Batmans face. Everything moved faster then, and you do start to get captivated by the movie. I would say the best scenes are the hospital scene, the boat scene, and the ending scene.

Truthfully, I wasn't totally captivated by the movie. I found it semi-enjoyable, but I felt there was something missing. I do love the plot of the story "People can turn evil" (although the Joker was proved wrong-- in the words of Batman-- "Not everyones like you, Joker") and I loved Heath Ledgers acting. He truly made the Joker an enjoyable character, and although it seems weird, I kind of felt sympathy for the Joker. I mean, he was only this way because he felt no love from the woman he loved and his parents.

I wouldn't say this movie is for everyone. But, do get the chance to see it some time soon.

RATING: 4.5/5
