Filming on Campus

I got to watch another TV show be filmed on campus today. Its called windfall, about twenty people who win the lottery. Its not out yet, but it is being made for NBC. They turned the PE building into the front of a courthouse (Kent Country Courthouse was written on the doors), so it was pretty interesting. The scene was only a two people exchanging coffee then walking into the courthouse. Still, it was neat watching all of the action. That makes my third TV so far this year. The first one was the USC edition of Best D*mn Sports Show Period, and the second was watching them film some of the "My name is Earl" show outside the shrine. Pretty cool. One more day till a new espisode! Tonight is lost, and it is "extended", which actually means that it is five minutes longer. Really. Thats all. Quite the marketing ploy. Oh well, should be interesting.

Gray's Anatomy

So I watched my second episode of this show with twelve other people from my dorm, all smashed into one room. While it is an amusing show, it is way more shallow and less realistic. I think ER has spoiled me with the emotional as well as intellectual depth. GA seemed to be more about talking about sex than anything else. Not a horrible show, and I can see why people like it, but it certainly didn't make me think the way ER does. As a side note, they did something similar to the Breast Cancer scarves and had a special commercial about ovarian cancer. Nice to see other shows following ER's lead.

I Love ER

ER, how do I love you, let me count the ways. Luka...Luka... oh yeah, more Luka. This week certainly made up for last weeks Luka deficiency. What an amazing episode. Powerful story, powerful action, and a great ending. I can't wait for next week. It will be absolutely amazing, I have no doubt. A plane crash will definitely pack a punch. I hope Neela does okay, I like that girl. Lost yesterday was okay. I'm sad that the girl died, I liked the little I saw of her. And the guy who died in season one is really, really hot. I hope that they get Sawyer some help soon. As annoying as he is, he is also very necessary. You have to have someone on the show you love to hate. Now I have to finish writing my paper. Hopefully it won't take to long. I want to dream about Luka. Sweet dreams all!

Season 2

I have officially watched every episode in season 2 of ER. There was much rejoicing. I even got some homework done as well. I really enjoyed them, and I can't wait to get the other seasons on DVD for Christmas (I hope). I got a warm fuzzy feeling watching Carter take his first patient in his new coat. Great stuff!

ER Splurge

I've been watching ER instead of studying again, so now I have seen five more episodes of season two. They were great! I really love the Christmas one, seeing everyone so happy made me happy. And the cast shouldn't do a musical episode, I think their song proved that. I got to watch the first forty five minutes of last night's episode, but unfortunately I missed the emotional ending. At least I got to see some of it, I didn't expect to be able to see any. I'm going to watch a few more episodes this weekend, but mainly I have to catch up one work and get ready for halloween! Have a great weekend everyone!

It's been a while, hasn't it?

So, I haven't posted for a while. Oh well. It isn't as though anyone actually reads this. I watched lost for the past two weeks and have been enjoying it, although I am still somewhat confused about everything that has happened. I hope to watch season one at some point in time. I haven't had the chance yet to watch more of season two ER, but I have watched the most recent ones, and they are pretty interesting. I like, I like. I think that I am becoming in favor of Abby and Luka as a couple. This surprises me, but I think that they are cute when they interact with each other!

Getting into ER

I'm working at getting an understanding of the show ER. I just finished watching "Hell and High Water", which was, of course, amazing. Gotta love Ross. My devotion will remain with Luka, however. Why is it that I always get into shows when they are dying down? I must be cursed. Really want to see Serenity. Looks like fun, and it got surprisingly good reviews. More later!

New Orleans Coverage

So far, I think that CNN has done the most complete job in covering the hurricane tragedy. Just a few seconds ago they actually talked to a woman whose family is trapped in their attic and is waiting to be rescued. Very effective and interesting.

College Here I Am!

So, I moved in to USC, and am now settled down in my dorm. We have a TV in our room, so I should be able to watch quite a few more shows now, although there hasn't actually been anything on for the past few days.

Vacation

Back from a fun vacation in sunny Florida and New Orleans. Amid jump rope competition and lazing in the sun I was able to catch some random episodes of ER. They weren't the strongest, but they were still fun. Now we are back to season three, which messed me up a bit, but is still fun. I'm glad that my roommate will have a TV so I can catch a year of new shows. More later!
