Two Weeks of General Hospital ending December 14, 2007

I apologize I was on vacation and in the middle of semester finals so I am catching up on two weeks of General Hospital.

Wow -- isn't funny how more has happened in the past two weeks versus the entire month of November which was suppose to be Sweeps. My theory on Coop is the killer -- I know the writers are being blatantly obivious about but what is he is also the assassin for Zaccara too. Since the sniper and warehouse incidents were all happening at the same time as the TMK attacks. He could have also disappeared from the Ball to help the Zaccara men onto the island instead of attacking people. I think the only I want to embrace this theory is because I love 3M and don't want it ruined by him being the killer.

Oh yeah -- did you catch Coops middle initial. He is definately related to Brenda/Julia. Cooper H. Barrett. H as in Harlan -- Brenda/Julia's dad. I so hope he is Julia/AJ's son.

I am enjoying Kate suing Sonny but we know it won't last because GH hasn't been for strong women (with morals) since Anna Devane left the show. Sorry a screeching Carly doesn't count.

Things I enjoy but wish they didn't -- I love how Sam greets Lucky when she sees him. It is so cute but her past actions completely negate the whole thing which pisses me off..

I loved MAC this week. I loved him going after Johnny, loved him in golfing attire as Luke was in hell and just for being on my screen for more than once in a month. I miss Mac.

I must admit this whole mob story is of no interest to me and I FF through most of it, Lulu, Liason. The only scenes I don't FF are with the Jones girl and anything with the vets.

Girls night out was wasted because Liz had to go on a rant about every woman's purpose in life is to be a mother and men should all bow down to that. AWFUL -- can't believe GH actually made me feel sorry for Patrick the ass after he treated Leyla like crap earlier in the show.

Highlight of the two weeks: Skye as Luke's guide through hell and MAC.

General Hospital: Week of November 26 - 30, 2007

Well this was the week of the funeral and as far as I am concerned not much else. Sarcastic Comment of the Week: Was the funeral sponsored by Sunglass Hut or what?

Not really sure about the whole Luke storyline. If he actually grows up and decides to be there for his kids, then I am all for it. But if this is just more crap and then he will go off back to wild ways -- I don't really see the reason for this storyline.

I did like Kate getting mad at Sonny for his attempt to control her life now. I hope she actually sticks to her guns. I also got to say I am loving this Johnny character and I hope he kicks Trevor's butt. That boy has some serious charisma unlike Logan or Spinelli's tiresome hacker crap.

Hmmm -- I am not sure where Guza is going is going with the NEM storyline but Tyler Christopher is knocking it out of the park. That much is for sure.

Okay now for the good stuff: Monica telling Sonny off and Sonny being unable to respond because he knows it is the truth. AMEN MONICA -- PREACH IT !!!

Liz also gave a wonderful eulogy at Emily's funeral and I don't even like her character right now.

Port Charles: Time In A Bottle

I really liked this arc -- A lot better than Fate. This arc totally belonged to Frank and Karen. I think my favorite part of this arc was the date Frank took Karen on at the football field. The one where he gave her his ring and made her homecoming queen. It was so sweet and endearing. I real testamant to history since we all know Karen never had a chance for that kind of high school memory.

The Ian/Eve stuff was little too angsty for me. I was wore out by the end of the arc and completely ready for them to get together. I thought he spent most of the arc acting like a total ass about the whole Arianna situation. The best about Ian/Eve being apart though is that is provided for some wonderful scenes between Chris and Eve. They have to have the best friendship in daytime ever. I love them and their martinis. And after she told him she was pregnant -- Chris was completely there for Eve and I loved ever minute of it.

The younguns are still getting on my nerves. I love Jack and Jamal but I cannot stand Livvie and Allison. Their whole storyline especially the Jack/Livvie/Chris would not have worth if not for the antics of Kevin and Lucy trying to prove what a cad Chris is. I adore Kevin and Lucy -- what would Port Charles be without them. I'll tell you -- it would be the suckfest we currently call General Hospital.

Well "Tainted Love" if off with a bang and I will return as soon as it is over. Not sure what to make of this Michael character at all -- creepy priest. Hmmm.

General Hospital: Week of November 19-21, 2007

It was old school GH Thanksgiving this week and Thank God for that. We go the Q's, Bobbie, Leslie and Mac. Even Ned and Dillon dropped in.

I loved the whole Scorpio family scene with Mac and his girls especially when the three girls got together to carve the turkey. Loved it. So many wonderful memories.

Highlight of the Week: Edward talking about the Kennedy's and losing everything but his wealth. I was bawling like a baby. John Ingle Rocks.

HM -- Monica tearing into Jason. "Your not my son" -- I hope he heard every word she said.

Dexter's Sister Annoying -- Only to Me -- Someone Explain Her to Me

Okay someone please help me out. I having been watching Dexter Season 1 on DVD through Netflix. Even though I still have four episodes left -- I have a question. I am the only one who finds Dexter's sister completely annoying or what?

Her know it all, eager beaver, wannabe attitude on the police force just drives me crazy. Most of her accomplishments are because of Dexter and when she makes any head way -- she gets all condescending and arrogant about it. I just don't get it. So I am looking for someone to explain the purpose of her character to me and why I shouldn't hope the Ice Truck Killer kills her.

General Hospital: Week of November 12 - 16, 2007

This entire week belongs to Tyler Christopher -- he exemplied Nikolas's grief over Emily's death so well it nearly made up for all the other crap I had to watch this week.

The paternity secret that ate Port Charles is finally out and Greg Vaughan did an great job in his scenes. I was upset not see Lucky's reaction to Emily's death. I remember when Emily met Lucky -- They were the best of friends way before there was a "Fab Four." I hope they let Lucky grieve and don't use this an excuse to show nothing but scenes of Jason/Liz getting closer.

Jason/Liz -- I am not feeling this couple. I don't see any spark with SB that everyone keeps talking about but hey whatever the writers want we get. Who cares what the fans think. I have no sense of loyalty to either one of them in this debacle and that they deserve to have consequences for their actions.

Lucky/Sam -- I am not feeling this couple either. I love Lucky but can't stand Sam. Lucky needs to be clued in on Sam's full responsibility for the whole Jake debacle. Her actions are unforgiveable. I know Lucky cheated on Liz with Maxie and was addicted to drugs but you know there are so many times that excuse can be used. She divorced him for it. He paid his price. She remarried him. Her problem now not his.

The rest of the week was uneventful -- lot of Lulu and Carly yelling at people. The whole Robin/Patrick/Leyla thing -- I don't know about. I don't like Patrick -- think he is an ass. I think they are writing Robin completely out of character. Leyla -- if this whole let Zaccahara shoot her thing was the writers ploy to get me to like -- well I don't.

Highlight of the Week: Luke claiming Mekkos, Starvos and Stefan would be laughing their flaming asses off at him for having a heart attack in the House of Cassadine. Loved it.

General Hospital: Week of November 5 - November 9, 2007

Okay welcome to the Boredom Ball of 2007. Usually with GH Sweeps I don't FF through a lot but not this time. Even Ragin' Nik is starting to drag -- get on with this story. There are a lot of things that are a disappointment for me this Sweeps.

Anthony Zaccahara -- very boring -- yes he is crazy but he still isn't interesting. Spinelli, Lulu and Logan -- someone please shut these folks up because they are driving me crazy. Carly -- then again when is she not a disappointment. Jason/Liz -- her whole attitude is starting to get on my nerves -- like Nadine cares about their relationship. Emily -- Okay can she be anymore boring.

Things that I have a feeling will disappoint me -- If Coop turns out to be killer I will be disappointed. They could have done so much with a character named Barrett. God I wanted him to be Julia/AJ's long lost son. I also think whatever they do with Johnny Zaccahara will be a disappointment -- he will be used for pimping Lulu and Logan which is too bad because I actually like this character.

Boy Guza was playing with the fanbases this week -- there was a little something for everyone. Peyla, Scrubs, Jasam, J&R, Skate, Carson, Jaxis, J-Lex, Rexis, Mucky (I don't know what their other name is ), 3M,Riskyand many more.

And sadly these little fanbase moments were the highlights of the week for me: I loved Robin, Sonny and Jason interacting. Sonny watching out for Robin and Jason wanted to stay there with her. LOVED IT. I loved seeing Lucky and Maxie interact without any animosity. And the biggest highlight of the week: Jax carrying Alexis onto to the boat to get her to the hospital. Their whole scene while she was huritng was wonderful. They have such amazing chemistry. I love when they are on screen toghether.

General Hospital: Week of October 29 - November 2, 2007

Well Guza is back to Sweeps stunt and this time it is a ball told in flashbacks. Monday and Tuesday's episodes were pretty much filler episodes to kick off the ball on Wednesday morning.

Quick Rant - Whoever decided on the hairdo's for the ball did an awful job. Not to mention some of the dresses aren't that great either. I like Robin's hair the best and I like Leyla's dress the best.

Highlight of the Week: Maxie Jones -- this girls just rules the show -- unapologetic and abrassive but she softens in her eyes everytime she looks at Coop. I love 3M and wish they hadn't sacrificed them for Lulu/Logan. The dance between Liz/Lucky was so sad and brought back so many memories.

Ric has been stabbed, Anthony Zaccahara is running around, Johnny is trying to protect Lulu and Nik is rampaging out of control. Johnny is growing on me. Not sure I want him with Lulu but the character is showing layers that neither Logan/Coop/Spinelli have yet to show us. I am liking what I see so far except for the whole Jason "Mighty Mouse" Morgan -- Here I Come To Save The Day aspect.

Questions -- Why is Robin fainting -- Is she PG? I hope not -- can't stand Patrick. Who is the dead body next to Nik. Rumors/Spoilers say its Emily -- my vote is for Robin. Don't know why just have this feeling. I will probably be wrong.

Quote of the Week: Maxie to Jax -- "Muzzle your wife before she kills somebody". LOVED IT !!

General Hospital Week of October 22-26, 2007

Well I don't really remember what happened this week. I spent most of it fast forwarding. I tell you what -- my index finger must be in great shape.

I hope November and the Black/White puts something into GH because it really needs it. I know they need to the build up but this is so slow it is painful. The only highlight was the look on Jason's face when Robin asked Spinelli to father her child -- I don't think I have seen that much humor in an episode in a long time. Great look but they ruined it by humilating Robin in front of the entire hospital staff. But I did like the conversation between her and Jason at the hospital and I like the revelation that Patrick needs to finally butt out.

I spent most of the rest of the time fast forwarding -- Johnny and Anthony have an interesting dynamic even more psychotic than Ric and Trevor. It almost makes Johnny a little more human.

The rest of the week was pretty much Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.

Port Charles: Fate

PC Fate Title Image

I have been watching Port Charles on Soapnet and just finished "Fate". I guess this is the first of arcs once Port Charles started airing in arcs. Before now I have only seen a few episodes of Port Charles but deciding to watch it all the way through now. I really liked this arc. The show seems to do a good job of intertwining all the characters and making sure each character gets their share of airtime. God how I wish General Hospital would do that.

This is definately a show of Murphy's law though -- if it can go wrong it probably will. It doesn't seem like they like for people to be happy for very long. I do like how they don't really break them up they just have them tackling obstacles together. The Ian/Eve story is a little farfetched but I still like the whole kidnapping storyline and I like the characters. Kevin and Lucy are just entertaining and worth rooting for.

I like howI can spot scenery from the glory days of GH. GH's Jason had a bike shop that burned down and now Jamal/Allison/Jack are rebuilding it. You can also see where the current GH is using PC scenery -- Allison/Jamal's place is now Logan's place. Lucy's place is now Ric's house.

Characters I like: Ian, Eve, Jamal, Jack and of course being the GH fan -- Kevin and Lucy. But I have to say my favorite character is Chris Ramsey. He is a total ass but I love him to pieces for some reason.

Couples I like: Ian/Eve, Kevin/Lucy and Frank/Karen.

Characters that must go: I really don't like Allison or Livvie -- they are very annoying but I have a feeling I am stuck with them. This sucks because I like Jack and Jamal.

Looking forward to "Time in a Bottle"
