On november second and third of every year we have vacations!!! the first one its to pay our respects to the people that are not longer with us, we go to the cementery and put flowers on their graves, we even have some tipical food on this day(colada morada).the second day of vacation its to celebrate the independence of a city in the highlands CUENCA. the people in that city make partys and gatherings its like a small carnival but here in the coast most of the people go to the beach!!! we gad a lot of them and they are so beautiful. So Im enjoy my vacations even if they're just  till monday hopefully ill go to my uncle pool house in the country side, its so quite and relaxing!!!   

School papers,internal assesments and CAS that's what Ive been doing in the last seven months.....No parties, not even hanging out with my friends on Saturdays, I got so tired after doing social labor, well at least that's what they called it here I think you called it comunity service, well in my case the name has not much sense cause we  still haven't help or contributed to the comunity!!!!!! seriously we havent help a soul!! and i think is because a company is not made overnight, you see my college has something call CAS, in which all 5th course students have to be in it, in order to get benefiets to graduate, this comunity service is divided in many areas like, teaching to poor kids, proyect Santay, health and care, our challenge a proyect that its around deafth kids and creating companies!!!! this last one its my proyect.

At the begining we were supposed  to help all the others proyects by making handycrafts and selling them but this year our director give it a turn, we were going to build up a company!!!!!!! It took us like four months to form the structure of our company, all the members in charge are students, adults are only there to guidance. So we gad a structure, a mission our goals and objectives our FODA, our rules and santions and even the symbol of the company ( a tortoise eating chocolat) which I made it,  all of this achieve after a few discussions, we gad all written down and  the next step nedeed was money!!! which neither of our parents were allowed to give us, because according to the director we needed to get the money by ourselves so we trow several parties  fairs, we even sold candy, we also got money from the sell of the companies's actions........Oh i was forgetting to write  what the company was about, its a "chocolatera" that means we make chocolat but in a handycraft way,the name of the company is "CHOCOLINO" choco for chocolat and lino for COPOLINO because of the reference to the college. Back to the money thing,  we saved a lot but still was not  enough for all the things needed so we ask the principal to invest in the company, to do that we have a presentation and sure!! gad the principal support but the time we waited for him to write us a check  was to long. We use this time to learn how to prepare chocolat after three weeks waiting the space that they gave us was done!!! and ready to start making chocolate!!! the place has two sides one is like a cold room and the other is where we mealt the chocolate. Having the company stablish, means working even harder because we still havent found the perfect flavor for the chocolat !!!!!!and until we do that we cant sell it!!!!. Once we finish this school year, the ones who choose to subscribe to the IB programme will continue with the proyect but only to manage the money and the ones that won't  will remain as member and every now and then will help if they want. OHHHH!!! almost forget the reason why I said that we havent help a soul is because we havent specific contribute to the community yet but were gonna eventually because the aim of the company is having money to gave loans to people who are not capable of getting credits.

Thats all for now............... sorry if I wrote something  incoherent Im trying to work on this, specially because my teacher keep saying we need to make coherent essays!!!!!!

 

hi I'm nadia im sixteen about to turn  seventeen next november, since this is my first blog i think i should tell you guys more about me well.......Im from south america.from a country called Ecuador, i know you might never heard about it but what about the Galapagos Islands!!!!!!!! they are pretty  awesome  if you have the chance to travel around the south i recommend Galapagos. Im a student at copol college, a well known college around here specially for their IB programme wich not every college has it here.

My family is formed by my mom a principal, my dad a engineer and my two sisters Carla and Mayra both younger than me, the three of us were name after brazilian soup operas's actress , luckly for us  my mom choose those to be our second names ( Dusset Zuleyka and Lais) the last one is my second name wich is also my username "laisita"...........Something interesting about me is that im an artist, I paint and draw since i can remember and im really good at it.... reallly im not liying. My last painting was a potrait of my friends dog. The thing is that im not constant in this, for example you can ask me to paint something ill definetily say yes but you have to wait, and wait and wait and even yet i will have not finish. But once im finish I assure the waiting really paids off, but this has nothing to do with my professinal carrer, cause im planing to go to med school and at the same time study art cause i think it would be wrong to not try to pulish my art cause i consider it like a gift. 

I think im very peculiar im very quiet and passive around people i dont know deeply but around people i know im like the center of attention i get a long with everyone... really and thats something odd in my school where everyone has once get in a fight with someone probably because im new at this school, and because i went to a catholic school since i was six till i was fourteen, so  i get a long just nice with everyone. I was thinking to stop writing here but i realized i have not explain my reason to join this forum well..... I dont know if you are aware that around here we can count with our fingers the people  that watch tv series not because we dont have  cable because we do, its just that their more into soup operas, and those few who see them dont like to talk about it as much  as I like to talk. So I gad no one to talk about series and specially movies and thats so sad they even shut me when i start talking about tv and they also said  things  like you gad nothing to do better than watching tv. So im hoping this forum would allow me to talk with people that reallly cares about tv and that enjoy talking about it  and also it would be an opportunity to put in practice my english.
